_POV: AT VALMORTH'S CHAMBER_

The mansion's door creaked open, unleashing an eerie, foreboding aura that permeated the air. Three powerful figures glided in, their heads held high, their elegant steps exuding confidence. Clad in attire similar to Valmorth's, they radiated an aura of malevolent energy, their combined powers suffocating.

"They're here..."

Callisto announced, bowing deeply as he backed away from the entrance. His hands clasped behind him, he gestured respectfully towards the newcomers.

The leader,Lord Forsythe, pierced Callisto with an intense gaze, making him gulp nervously.

"Valmorth?" Forsythe's deep voice resonated with anger and irritation.

"H-he's inside, Your Majesty," Callisto stuttered, his eyes darting towards Valmorth's chamber.

"I hope this isn't another one of his games. This time, I won't let you two off so easily." Lord Forsythe said as Callisto shook his head vigorously

Callisto led the trio to the chamber, swinging open the massive door. As they entered, Valmorth greeted them with a knowing smile.

"Ah, Lord Forsythe..." Valmorth said, securing the dagger in its case.

Forsythe's response was laced with a growl. "Valmorth..."

Valmorth bowed slightly, showing respect, before acknowledging the others.

"Lady Geneva...Lord Halvort..." The duo nodded in unison.

Lady Geneva spoke up, her voice tinged with skepticism.

"Why did you call us here again, Valmorth?"

Valmorth smirked mischievously. "To show you I've acquired the boy, as requested."

He gestured towards Asher's prone form. The trio approached, towering over him.

"He's human?" Halvort asked, raising an eyebrow.

Geneva adjusted her glasses, scrutinizing Asher. "He appears to be..."

"Hmm.."

Forsythe inhaled deeply, his eyes closed. His hum sounded more like a growl.

"Why is he unconscious?" Forsythe demanded.

Callisto stuttered, but Valmorth intervened.

"Callisto found him unconscious. The boy's been wandering this place alone... poor thing."

Valmorth's saccharine tone belied his sinister intentions.

"Halvort," Forsythe ordered.

Halvort stepped forward, extending his hands over Asher. Incantations flowed from his lips as magical lights swirled around him.

Asher's eyes snapped open, as if awakening from a nightmare.

"w-where am I?" Asher stammered, struggling to sit up. His head throbbed, and he winced, hissing in pain. Slowly, he touched the sore spot, his fingers trembling.

As he turned behind him stood Forsythe his piercing gaze struck Asher like a cold blade. Geneva and Halvort's intense stares followed, their faces chiseled from granite. Asher's heart sank.

"W-what the...and how did I-" His voice cracked, memories flooding back. The forest, Callisto, the darkness... His eyes widened in terror.

"I-I have nothing, please spare me!" Asher begged, tears welling up. His voice shook, his body trembling uncontrollably. "I didn't do anything, please!"

Forsythe's expression twisted in disdain. "Tsk..." He kissed his teeth

The room was silent for a few seconds that felt like forever to Asher..

"Kill him." Lord Forsythe said

Turning away, he strode into the shadows, his presence still looming.

Asher's pleas turned desperate. "W-what!? No! I didn't do anything! Please!"

Callisto pinned him down, his grip unyielding. Valmorth emerged, the dagger glinting in the dim light.

Asher struggled, his screams echoing off the walls. "No! Please! Help!" His voice cracked, his body wracked with sobs.

Valmorth's sly smirk spread, a cruel crack in the darkness. "No one can save you now, child...no one." The dagger hovered, poised to strike.

Asher's vision blurred, his struggles seemed useless..yet again..maybe his end?
