Why?
Why is this in Naruto?
Can someone answer that for me?
More often than not, I am seeing insert OCs with cellphones and laptops and a bunch of technology that doesn't exactly exist in the Narutoverse at the time of the plot.
In the epilogue, we do see modernization in Naruto, and things such as phones and computers and such else exist, so it's not impossible for an iPhone or any cellular device to already exist in Naruto, HOWEVER, I hate when people do this:
• Treating your device like it's some newfound technology - AGAIN, TVS/COM LINKS/RADIOS/APPLIANCES EXIST IN NARUTO. TECHNOLOGY IS NOT FOREIGN! DONT TREAT IT LIKE IT IS!!!!!!!
• Having a device with working wifi/4G and infinite battery life - No. Stop. This doesn't even logic.
• Having this modification specifically so your ignorant OC can binge watch Naruto.
Let me do some math for you.
Naruto
220 Episodes - Filler = 135 Episides
135 Episides * 24 Minutes = 3,240 minutes
3,240 minutes = 54 hours
54 hours = 2 days, 6 hours
Naruto: Shippuden
421 planned episodes + 80-90 expected remaining = ~500 predicted episodes
500 episodes * 24 minutes = 12,000 minutes
12,000 minutes = 200 hours
200 hours = 8 days, 8 hours

2 days, 8 hours + 8 days, 8 hours = 10 days, 14 hours (or 252 hours)
10 days, 16 hours total, but the average human sleeps for 10 hours a day. Multiply 252 hours by 2.4 (24/10) = around 609 hours [25 days, 6 hours]
So for all those people who try to pull that phone BS in a nutshell, regardless of your purpose, it would literally take you a month to watch Naruto up to date, and even longer once the anime is actually DONE.
And don't get me started on reading the manga.
