So, we've all read at least one story that covered this. Supernatural beings in Naruto aren't a bad thing, however, they're horribly executed by nearly every author that makes them.
Usually, a prominent trait or two takes the leading role in a character, such as a vampire who only lives to eat people/suck blood, or a Neko who really just has cat ears and a tail for no purpose. I've compiled a nice list for you all to experiment with, because I want to wake up one day to an extraordinary story that isn't a bunch of half-baked supernatural shit. This only covers vampires in the Narutoverse since they're the most prominent and least expanded on.

- Alluring appearance (Sometimes hideous)
- Usually turn into dust when they die (Can be revived via blood sacrifice in some cases)
Weaknesses:
- Stakes (Usually fatal; Consider effect on some Jutsu such as Mokuton Jutsu)
- Sunlight (Varying. Can be fatal, inconvenient, cause burning, or weakness. Consider burning/weaknesses)
- Decapitation
- Swimming (Consider that Vampires are like Devil Fruit eaters. They cannot swim.)
- Fire (Varying. Can be fatal, cause burning, or severe damage. Consider effect on some Jutsu such as Katon Jutsu)
- Silver (Less often than not)
- Garlic
- Holy symbols/Holy water/Blessed Land/Priests (Consider effect in the Sora Arc)
- Running Water
- Interesting tendency to count things. Ex: Tiles on the ceiling or blades of grass in a garden; Form of OCD)
Common Strengths:
- Immortality (Don't do this)
- Enhanced Strength/Speed/Hearing/Sight
- Unnatural Healing
- Flight (Consider limiting this to a Jutsu)
- Psychic Abilities/Telekinesis (Affinity towards Particle Style or natural mastery of Yamanaka Clan Jutsu?)
- Pyrokinesis (Rare; Consider Affinity towards fire style)
Naruto Traits:
- Vampires are their own clan with clan Jutsu (Passive and Active)
- Vampires have an affinity towards Earth/Wind/Lightning and a weakness towards Fire/Water/Wood
- Vampires born with fire/water affinities are not weakened by fire/water
- Blood Release Kekkeh Genkai?
