Part 1

November- 2020

Both girls are 19.

"Katie please let me go home, I'm tired" Lilly stated while getting dragged by Katie through a bar where she was meeting her teammates for a few drinks.

"Noo. You just got back from tour and I want you to meet everyone" Katie said

Lilly had just gotten back from being on tour for 5 weeks in Iraq and now she was home back in England Katie was dragging her out to meet the arsenal team and a have a good night. Lilly was mainly worried about meeting her crush Leah Williamson which only Katie knows and she swore never to tell. But as they got closer she saw the blonde she wiped her sweaty palms and listen to katie who introduced everyone.

Lilly's Pov

I stood there just looking at each of the girls katie pointed to, the ones i was familiar with was Beth Mead, Kim Little, Viv Meidima, Lucy Quinn, jordan Nobbs, and of course Leah.

I was brought back to katie when she finally introduced Leah

"And leah!" Katie said joyfully with a wink

I shook my head while leah giggled

"she has such a cute giggle" i thought to myself

"nice to meet, I've heard so much about you" Leah said quietly with a big smile

"you too. I've hear great things. And seen you play, your very good" i said awkwardly but with a smile

We started talking and getting to know each other when beth and caitlin foord came over.

''hey. Katie was saying that your in the army. Whats that like? if thats okay to share'' Beth asked with a smile

''ofcourse''

''The army is great i mean you see a lot of things you can't get out out of your head btu it is a rewarding job when you finished the mission'' i said and looked to Leah who was listening intently

''wow. Well I am glad we have people like you who put your life on the line for everyone'' Beth said

''yeah that sounds like a tough job''

The girls got called over by some of the others which left me and Leah by ourselves.

"Want to go get a drink?" I asked her sheepishly

"Of course" she said responded excitedly

We walk up to the bar and I go and order for us

" a vodka coke and and scotch please" I ask the bar tender

He went to go grab the drinks and I turned to Leah

"Scotch huh?" She questioned with a cheeky smile

"Haha yeah I want something strong to start with" i laughed and grabbed the drinks of the lady and pass Leah her drink

She said thank you and has a sip of her drink

I caught myself looking at the gorgeous blonde for too long so eventually we both decided to go mingle with the other players. We over and I saw Katie playing tonsil hockey with ruesha while the others were slowly getting drunk and laughing.

I went over to katie and smacked her in the back of the head basically saying ''get a room'' and sat down next to them

''I see you two are getting along'' katie whispered with a cheeky grin and winked

I rolled my eyes and giggled all blushed up looking down at my drink. She just laughed and started asking about how it went talking with Leah

'' Lets play truth or dare!!!!" Beth shouted basically drunk
