The week before the wedding felt like a blur of soft chaos.

Leah sat curled on the couch, blanket wrapped around her, wedding mood boards scattered everywhere. Spring florals, soft whites, greenery, long tables — it was everything she wanted, just scaled down. Smaller. More intimate. But still full.

She pressed a hand to her stomach, grimacing slightly.

Lilly noticed immediately from the kitchen. "You okay?"

"Just... nauseous again," Leah muttered.

"You eaten?"

"Crackers."

"Only crackers?"

Leah gave her a look. "Don't start."

Lilly walked over anyway, setting down ginger tea. "Drink."

Leah sighed but took it. "You're bossy."

"You're pregnant."

"You use that as an excuse for everything."

"Yes."

Leah smiled faintly. "One week."

Lilly nodded. "...one week."

Her eyes softened — nervous, excited, protective all at once.

Wedding Morning

Spring sunlight poured across the venue — soft white drapes, greenery hanging overhead, flowers in pale pink, cream, and wild greenery lining the aisle. It was simple but beautiful.

The Italian catering team were already setting up long tables for later — bread, pasta, roasted vegetables, meats, desserts. The smell drifted through the air.

Inside, Leah sat while Beth fixed her hair.

"You look pale," Beth said quietly.

"I am pale."

"You're getting married today, try not to faint."

Leah laughed softly. "I'll try."

Her dress hung nearby — flowing white, soft fabric, elegant but not overdone. Perfect for spring.

Georgia leaned against the wall. "Lilly nervous?"

"Oh yeah," Steph grinned.

Keira smirked. "Katie texted — she said Lilly hasn't spoken in ten minutes."

Leah smiled softly. "She does that when she's overwhelmed."

Beth stepped back. "Alright. Dress time."

They helped her stand slowly. Leah slipped into the dress — it fit perfectly, gentle around her still-small bump.

Everyone went quiet.

"Oh my god," Steph whispered.

Keira smiled. "You look incredible."

Beth squeezed her hand. "She's gonna cry."

Leah laughed nervously. "She better not."

Lilly's Side

Lilly adjusted her suit jacket for the third time.

Katie smirked beside her. "You're fidgeting."

"I'm not."

"You are."

Tommy straightened her collar. "Relax."

"I am relaxed."
