Part 4

Following from last chapter...

I grabbed Leah's hand and walked her to the picnic and when she saw it she had tears in her eyes and just looked at me adoration.

"Its beautiful" Leah whispered and turned around to hug me

I hugged her back and rubbed my hands down her back soothingly

"That's okay darling. I wanted this to be special" I said gently wiping the small tears that fell from her eyes

"I sound like such a baby. No one has ever done this for me. It's always been last minute restaurant dates. But this is so special" she said looking at me

"Well they never saw how truly special you are" I smiled
"C'mon let's go have dinner" I said pulling her to the table surrounded by flowers and fairy lights.
"I really have to thank Mara, she's done such a good job" I thought to myself

I got out the food and gave Leah hers. I got fruit, ham sandwich's as I found out on Wednesday it was one of her favourite foods, I also got muffins and other little bits and also champagne.

"Ooo you got champagne this is really special" Leah said smirking

"Yeah ofcourse" I said but little does she know I hate champagne with a passion same with wine, something about it just is disgusting so I brought beer incase I can't physically drink it

I poured us some champagne and we toasted to our first date. I couldn't help but keep staring at Leah, she looked so beautiful even though we weren't dressed up she still looked breathtaking. We got talking about how are days went which ended in me getting told off about the fights today because she said she doesn't want to see me hurt but I assured her I was okay.

I took a sip of the champagne and made a face

"Don't champagne huh" she said giggling
"Nope but I brought these" I replied with a smirk and pulled out a beer

She laughed and took my beer off me and started drinking it. I just laughed and grabbed another one and got back to talking

"I need to talk to you" she said gently

I kinda panicked and just nodded thinking the worst

"Your job. I know it is something you love and I would never want you quit, but what happens, how much would i see you?" She said

"Ahh okay. I thought this would come up. So basically tours can go from 1 week to 2 months sometimes longer depending on the mission. I can't promise you I won't get hurt but I will try not to obviously. And I can't always call or message you but I will send you letters and stuff like that and I will always to my best to be home with you. I really want this to try, I really like you Le." I said rubbing my hand over hers

"That's all I needed to know and even though I won't see you everyday I still want to be with you and enjoy the moments we will have together. I really like you too Lil" she said holding my hand

We started talking again while we packed away the food and drinks. When I was down I took a breath and said

"Come with me" I stood up and grabbed Leah's and walked over and she saw my little surprise

And big will you be my girlfriend sign with flowers around it.

I looked to Leah and she started tearing up. I held both hands and pulled out a promise ring from my pocket

"I'm not good at speeches so sorry if this is shit" I said nervously

" that's okay" she responded giggling
