Leah and I are on the way to the cabin.

This morning we got some teasing over breakfast from Amanda about are small session last night and I just laughed while Leah was bright red.

We got packed and thank Leah's mum and grandma before getting in the car and driving off to the cabin.

About 15 minutes into the drive Leah grabbed my hand and pulled into her and held it.

"Tired baby?" I asked her
"A little bit but it's okay" she said yawning
"It's gonna be a 2 hour drive so why don't you get some sleep then I'll wake you when we stop for food" I said pulling over into a car park
"Okay. But why are you stopping?" She asked confused
"Give me a sec and you'll find out" I said going into the back

I went into the back seat and grabbed 2 of my hoodies and a blanket I had in here from a date we went on a couple weeks back. I walked around to Leah door and opened in bending down to her level

"What are doing my love?" She asked still very confused
"Making you comfy" i said leaning into her hand that was on my cheek and turned my head to kiss her warm palm
"Its okay you don't have to" she said
"I want to darling" I said leaning up to kiss her
I pulled away but Leah brought me back into her and kissed me more roughly sliding her tongue into my mouth. I kissed her back moving to sort of straddle her in a way and went to kiss her neck. As things were getting more heated my phone rang
"Fuck sake" I said panting and grabbed it from the cup holder and looked at it while Leah was panting and Hibbing the outside of my thigh to calm me down. I looked at the caller ID and saw it was Katie.
"It's Katie give me one sec" o said putting the phone on the speaker
" okay Bub" Leah said
"Hey pookie" Katie said
"Hey Kate gimme two secs" I said as I got out of the car and pulled Leah with me I leaned back into the car and pushed Leah's chair down into the laying position and sat in the seat. Leah looked confused until I grabbed her hand to make her lay on top of me shutting and locking the doors. As we cuddled I got Katie's attention
"Hey Kate sorry" I said putting the phone on my chest as I kissed Leah's head

" that's okay sorry interrupting" she said teasingly
"We weren't doing anything we just pulled over to grab something from the back of the car and you rang" I said chuckling at what she thought we were doing which it was most likely going to lead to it
"Uhh huh" she said
"What do you want McCabe" I said getting frustrated
"Oh yeah we are home tomorrow how long are you and Le away for?" She asked
"We will be back Monday afternoon" I said looking to Leah who start to play with my sports bra strap
"Okay no problem. When do you go back to work?" She asked
"The night we get back. Apparently there's a huge assignment for us" I said sighing thinking of the fact I'm not going to see Leah for probably 2 weeks or more
I didn't feel the pulling of my strap anymore but felt the weight move of my chest. I looked to Leah who was opening the car door and stepping out
"Ahh shit well I'll make sure to see you before you go yeah" Katie said and I heard her voice break and before you knew she bursted out crying
"Yeah of course Katie I would never go without my good luck hug" I said sighing and getting a little emotional over the whole thing
"Yeah" she said
I look out the window to Leah standing with her back to the car
"Hey Kate I need to go I think Leah is upset about me leaving and she just left the car" I said
"Yeah of course good-luck lil" she said softly
"Bye Katie love you"
" love you too pookie" she said hanging up

I wiped a stray tear that I didn't even know was there and got out the car to see Leah
It's always been hard to leave Katie but since I got with Leah it has gotten almost impossible

I walked to Leah and wrapped my hands around her waist only for them to be pushed off
"Le please" I said shocked and confused
"When were you going to tell me?" Said sniffling
"I only found out this morning I promise I was going to tell you when we got tot he cabin" I said softly
"I can't do this anymore Lilly" she said out of no where we have been together for 2 months and feels like years and I love you I really do but every time you leave I worry every day. Phone calls and messages aren't enough to keep me from worrying that maybe you won't come home to me or you will and you're going to missing legs or arms or maybe bed written on a ventilator!" She cried out with tears steaming down her face
