Part 3

Friday- the first date

Leah and I texted the night of the Wednesday when I dropped her off. It was now Friday and I was getting out of bed to go to work before I go to set up my picnic date with Leah.

"Man I hate getting up at 4:30" I thought to myself

I got up and went to have a shower. I shaved and brushed my teeth then dried off and got dressed in my uniform. Next I did my hair in a bun gelled it back so it was out of the way and headed to the kitchen to make my breakfast. It was no 5am and I had 30 minutes before I had to leave so I made some toast and juice. For some reason I can never have coffee this early or I'm falling asleep. I have my breakfast and think about tonight, I am so excited di cat stop thinking about it. I clean up and get my things head out to my car.

"Have a good day Miss Cooper!) Meghan the lovely old ladies ho runs reception in my apartment

"You too lovely lady" I said with a wink obviously know one she has a husband of 30 years and kids and also I have the most beautiful girl coming on a date with me later.

"Oh stop it you" she blushed and giggled

I just laughed at headed out to my car

Once I got in my car and started it I decided I would text Leah.

Hey gorgeous I'm heading to work now. I can't wait to see you tonight. Dress casual/comfy and I'll see you later on. Have a good day at training sweetheart ❤️

I pressed send and smiled while I put the car in drive and drove to work.

I arrived at work and saw Tommy getting out of his car so I decided to walk up to him and walk in together.

"Hey bud" Tommy said giving me fist bump

"Hey" I said in a very good mood

"whos the girl?" he said with a smirk

"what are on about?" I said rolling my eyes but not wiping smile of my face thinking about Leah and tonight.

"well for starters your in a really good mood for 6:30 in the morning and second of all you can't stop smiling. And I've seen this since Nicky when you first got with her and so this is all i can think of why your like this" He said gently

Oh yeah Nicky is my ex and she is a phyco. Basically the first month was good then she started going all weird saying i was cheating and stuff like she was on something and then one night she came at me and Tommy saying we were sleeping with each other when we were both laying opposite sides of the couch watching a movie drinking beer. But no, apparently we were sleeping together. So she came at us with a knife and didn't get far as me and tommy both went army style of her and tackled her, tied her up, and called the cops. She's now in jail with the crazies

Anyways...

"Okay so what if there is someone" I said smirking

"I fucking knew it. Who!?" he nudged me on the shoulder as we walked into the changerooms to put our shit away.

"One sec. I'll show you a photo" I said putting my bag down and opening my phone to find a picture of leah

"Here. That Leah she plays with Katie at arsenal" I said smiling at the photo

"And were going on a date tonight"

"Damn!! she's hot" he said to piss me off

I smacked in on the back of his head and said "don't speak about her like that"

"I was joking" he argued rubbing his head

I just laughed and got up to go out and work

We walked over the the crew and got to work training and running drills.
