In our world
Forever only lasts one second
Close your eyes just for me
Let's dance and forget
This whirlwind of misery
For a thousand times over

And I'll walk away tonight
Alone in the darkness
By then give me a last chance
I'm holding out for a last dance
I'll forget our mistakes
But I'll never forget you
I'll keep in mind
What I cherish most
Your sweet smile
Void from bitter memories

Don't you look at the clock
Just pretend no one watches us
In this crowded place
We're ghosts in time
On our last stretch
And shared last breaths

No regrets or grief to hold
On this day that marks
Both the end and a new beginning
A new chapter of life
