Yesterday I felt like reminiscing
And sit in with the memory of you
You dwelled on my mind
The moon rose as the sun withdrewFrom white to black and then bleak
The dreams became nightmares
I might've had a heart-attack
But no one noticed my flaresThe feelings bloomed inside
Just like flowers grow outside
After rainy days comes the sun
The surrender after a long run
My demons had finally retreated
Every day that I happily greeted
Appeared like a gift from above
Or maybe was it just love
That was one of a chapter
Didn't think my heart would soon shatterFrom friends to strangers
Since I brought you flowers
Why was it that I hadn't foreseen
A love story could never be oursBut a second chance came our way
Maybe a second could've turned into
Another minute, an hour, a day
But it was just a chance to say a proper goodbyeThe feelings bloomed inside
Just like flowers grow outside
After rainy days comes the sun
The surrender after a long run
My demons had finally retreated
Every day that I happily greeted
Appeared like a gift from above
Or maybe was it just love
That was one of a chapter
Didn't think my heart would again shatter.
