Steadied my hand
Helped mending my heart
When my all was falling apart
Shared my laughs and tears
Told me to keep my head up
And never give up
Early morning and late night talks
Those times I'll miss so much
For a thousand words
Just a single touch
And just a few words
For all our memories
Nothing in the world would sum up
What we've gone through
Between us resting a thousand words
Within our goodbye a crumbling world
Wish I could tell you a last time
Stories in the mind of mine
Remember who saved a life
Printed in my memory you are
In the distance you'll shine like a star
We'll be so close but so far
Like siblings we've been
Trusting, failing, learning
Never stopped looking on
In this world no treasure
Is as precious as our chapters
Owe it all to you
But lost track of my due
Early morning and late night talks
Those times I'll miss so much
For a thousand words
Just a single touch
And just a few words
For all our memories
Nothing in the world would sum up
What we've gone through
Between us resting a thousand words
Within our goodbye a crumbling world
For now our last page
May we come across at a later age
In the end free the thousand words
But not where it never rains
Early morning and late night talks
Those times I'll miss so much
For a thousand words
Just a single touch
And just a few words
For all our memories
Nothing in the world would sum up
What we've gone through
Between us resting a thousand words
Within our goodbye a crumbling world
There's something in your eyes
Making it hard to say goodbye

NOTE
This one was for my high school friends - I left this poem in their graduation book. I loved them so much, and moving on to a new chapter was hard. But thankfully I got to stay in touch with most of them <3
