Roman POV

"Oh hey, baby girl! How are you? Are you on your way home yet?" I asked as I answered the phone on the way to the car before it could even ring a second time.

"Hi babe... Yeah, but it's going to take a while, there's a traffic jam. So you'll probably get home before me. But let me tell you, it was worth it!" she gushed.

"Really? I guess we found our wedding venue." I replied with a laugh.

"I took a lot of photos for you. A lot more than were on the website. I think you'll love it as much as I do. But I won't make a decision without you," said Amali.

"As enthusiastic as you are... What kind of man would I be if I didn't make it possible for you? If you love it so much, I'd be a fool to say no." I replied as I lifted the suitcase into the trunk and then closed it.

"Well, if you tried, I'd have an argument or two to convince you, my love," she said, and I heard the smirk in her voice.

"That's true... You know, maybe I should say no and see what tricks you have up your sleeve." I replied.

"Oh be careful what you wish for, Mr. Reigns..." she then said.

I could imagine her eyes sparkling and her biting her lip.

We talked for a few more minutes until it was time to head home. Maybe I could make us something nice to eat if I arrived first. Amali truly deserved it. After all, she always took such good care of the children and me. Even when it wasn't necessary or expected, it was just her nature. This caring, adorable lady was like a whirlwind and I couldn't wait to expand our family.

The whole ride didn't take very long. In the meantime, I thought about what I could do for my baby girl.

I packed the car as it was already getting dark. I quickly got the luggage out and went inside. But the house was not empty as I had expected. I immediately heard soft music sounding towards me. As I took a few steps in the direction it was coming from, I saw that candles and fairy lights were lit outside on the patio. I spotted a beautifully laid table before I noticed movement next to me.

Amali came out of the kitchen with a beaming smile. And damn did she look beautiful. She was wearing a dark red dress that was far too low-cut and too short to be considered appropriate. I loved it, even though I certainly wouldn't let her leave the house in it. And the black high heels made her legs extra long and the lipstick in the matching color to the dress made her lips extra kissable.

"Hello my big, strong, future husband," she said softly and seductively as she walked towards me.

"Oh hello, you gorgeous being. And here I thought I could surprise you with a nice evening. Looks like you got home faster," I replied as I took her in my arms to give her a long kiss.

"Well, to be honest, I wasn't stuck in traffic. That was just a teeny-tiny white lie. I hope you can forgive me, but I wanted to do something really special for us," said Amali as she first put a hand on my cheek and then pulled me outside with her.

"You've succeeded. Is there a special occasion?" I asked.

I was filled with hope that there might be a reason for all of this. The one thing we had worked a lot and hard for. My eyes didn't leave her face for a second because I didn't want to forget the moment and the look in her eyes in case I was right.

"I guess so, Daddy..." she said softly before pulling a pregnancy test from under one of the napkins and showing it to me with tears in her eyes.

"Oh my god! Amali, we're having a baby!" I cheered and carefully lifted her up.

Amali wrapped her arms around my neck as we both stood there, embracing each other and letting it sink in that this was really happening.

"Yes, Ro... We're having a baby..." she whispered in my ear.

I set her back on her feet and put my hands on her cheeks. Gently, I wiped away the tears of joy before kissing my future wife.

"I love you and the little one." I whispered against her lips.

"Oh, believe me, we love you even more." she replied.

"Impossible." I said, my lips still on hers.

"Oh so possible." Amali disagreed.

"Don't argue with Daddy." I replied with a smirk.
