Roman POV
"Man... you can just feel people starting to eat out of our hands," Jey said as we made our way back to the locker room.
"That's the point. I'm telling you, we're just getting started. My vision is far from over and we're going to make history. We're going to make the whole family proud," I replied.
"I believe in it 100%, Uce. And speaking of eating out of your hand... What's going on with the prodigy? Anything you want to tell us?" he asked.
"You're almost as nosey as your brother," I chuckled as I opened the door.
I immediately noticed that my locker room wasn't as empty as you would expect. My eyes fell on Amali, who was lying on the couch with her legs up, playing with a strand of her hair.
"Looks like I have every reason to be." Jey laughed as he tried to look over my shoulder.
"Do me a favor and get lost. I'll see you before your match." I replied as I turned to face him.
With a smirk, I patted him on the stomach before closing the door so I didn't have to see his wide, seemingly knowing grin. As I turned back to the woman, I saw her getting up from the couch.
"Hey, baby girl," I said.
"Hey Tribal Chief. I'm just here to wish you a Happy New Year." she replied as she slowly walked towards me.
"Happy New Year to you too." I said as I put a hand on her hip to pull her closer to me.
Amali's fingers slowly slid over my shirt where she ran along every single letter before she came to my arms. She just enjoyed dragging it off a little. Whenever I leaned in to kiss her, she simply turned her head to the side.
"Starting the new year naughty like you ended the last one, I see," I murmured as I tightened my grip on her.
"Oh I think you know best how naughty I can be. Are you free tonight after the show?" she wanted to know, her eyes fixed on my face.
"I am free right now. I have an hour to kill." I replied and then just picked her up.
I sat down on the couch so that she was kneeling on top of me. Impatiently, I put a hand on the back of her neck and pulled her down to me. But she resisted again.
"Too bad for you that I don't have time. After all, I have championship business to take care of too." she replied against my mouth.
"You should have thought of that before you came here, baby girl," I murmured before I was finally able to silence her with my lips.
Amali moaned into my mouth as her fingers found their way into my hair as usual. She quickly began to gasp as her hips began to rock. She rubbed against me the whole time we kissed.
"It wasn't a wise decision to wear sweatpants, Roman." she finally whispered against my mouth.
I could feel the smile on her lips as she didn't slow down a bit with her movements.
"And what are you going to do now? I think you should take care of that." I replied as I tried to get my hands behind the thin fabric of her pants.
But she stopped me by simply climbing off my lap. She quickly looked in the mirror and wiped her lips with her fingertip.
"You'll have to wait. I told you before that I have things to do. But... if you can forgive me, then... I promise to make it up to you later." she said, her voice low and seductive.
"And I hope you know what you're getting yourself into. I'm not going to always tolerate this teasing." I replied as I closed my eyes and tried to get a grip on myself.
"You like it and you know it..." she said as she put her hands on my thighs and leaned towards me.
And I couldn't say she was wrong. I was really enjoying it. Besides, I couldn't deny that it was one hell of a fun.

Amali POV
After leaving Roman's locker room, I made my way to the Gorilla because it was almost time for my match with Sasha. But I hadn't gotten far when I heard her voice in the hallway. According to the other voice, she was talking to Carmella.
"Oh of course I heard that. She's also close with Heyman. So it's no surprise that she's being pushed. I wouldn't be surprised if they include her in the Bloodline storyline. As if Roman doesn't take up enough screen time already. I'm so annoyed by the whole thing and it's only just begun." she sneered, not exactly quietly.
Apparently she didn't care who could hear her. But I was far from not caring.
"Sasha, Sasha, Sasha... you sound really jealous. Doesn't the spoiled little brat like it that someone else is getting attention? Are you on the verge of throwing a tantrum again? You know damn well how important Roman is to the company right now. Numbers don't lie, baby." I asked mockingly as I walked past them.
"You've got a pretty big mouth for someone who's only here because of Heyman." she sneered back.
"Oh please, that's all you got? I'm here because I have talent. So do you, but unlike you, I don't start crying over every little thing. You've always been the jealous type. But I think you might be jealous of Roman for other reasons. All I can say is that you can get it out of your head," I said with a laugh as I didn't even bother to stop.
As I was leaving, I heard her indeed start to rant. She really thought she was better than me. I'd snap her out of it in a minute. I certainly wouldn't lose my titles to her.
