A/N: TW - Homophobia, homophobic slurs, fetishization of sapphic women, biphobia, violence

Richelle

"Yeah, we're about 20 minutes from the place. I'm really excited for this. Wish you could come with us. I know you're busy, but it would have been nice."

I'm just talking on the phone with Noah while we're on the bus on the way to our DanceMania audition. It's been...weird not having him on the team when getting ready for a competition. Ever since we were 5, we've always gone to these type of things together.

It was at-least decent with him being Head Choreographer, since I would still be working with him everyday. But, as soon as he tried to help with our routine for today, the others didn't want him in the room. I know he's technically not our teacher anymore since we're not on a-troupe, and he wasn't anyone's biggest fan aside from me. But, it still felt like a shitty thing for them to do.

He was already pissed off enough with us for making this decision. Nothing needed to be said, I already knew. All he's done this year is try to get us to a Nationals win again for the first time in years, and we just shoved that away without any thought.

I'm trying to be understanding, but I just wish he would also be that way to us. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. (For most people. I'm sure there's much more ion my future after this.) And we can't just choose a competition over something that could start all of us on our professional careers.

"I'll talk to you later then. Love you too. Bye." I barely have hung-up before Ozzy opens his fat mouth.

"You talking to your girlfriend on there?" There's that fucking stupid smirk on his face that I want to punch.

"No, it was Noah." I go to look out the window, but he doesn't shut up.

"A guy? So, you're saying I did have a chance when I was younger?"

"Only chance you'd have is necrophilia with my corpse." This gets a giggle out of Jacquie, who has taken out her air pods to listen from where she is next to me.

"Yeah right. I know you'd be dying for me if you were interested in men. Like you should be. I could change that though if you wanted."

"Only way you could change is turning a gay man straight."

His face is turning red. Ah, as someone who has a bit of a temper myself, it's pathetic how easy it is to make his rise.

"Speaking of which. I don't know why I actually thought you were dating Noah for a second. Maybe you'd both do it to cover up how you're both gay freaks."

"Noah's bi actually, like he has said. He likes girls too. You jealous that he gets a lot more of them around the studio?" I try to keep my own rage under the surface as he goes after Noah.

Don't let him get to you. Don't let him get to you.

"I'm not jealous. Not of someone who's clearly saying he likes girls just to cover up how gay he is. Pretty similar to you. You act like you don't like any of the guys here just to cover up how badly you want us to fuck you! You are just begging to be fixed, but act like you're not when anyone actually approaches you."

"Would you ever shut the fuck up, Ozzy?! I'm trying to have a good trip here without having to hear your homophobic rants for once."

All three of us look to the seats across from us, where Piper has looked up from her book to tell Ozzy off.

"Oh, of-course the other dyke speaks up. Why don't you just go back to making out with Amy?! Would give something good to get us off. Wish she was as smart as Emily though. Cause she at-least knew to cut Richelle off when she realised the bitch was fucking-"

A huge crack spreads across the bus, and everyone looks at where it came from. Tears run down Ozzy's face as he holds his nose that is clearly broken. Piper's fist is in the air, showing the obvious culprit to anyone that didn't see what she did.

A few of the girls laugh, and I see Summer actually clap for Piper. Kingston wraps his arms around his best-friend and glares at us. Right, because we're he ones that started this.

I'm a bit surprised when Finn and Henry stay sat where they are, just playing games with each-other on their phones.

Jacquie gives Piper a high-five. When she turns her eyes on me, I give her a nod of thanks, which she returns.
