Well, she is certainty having fun. Judging by the several 2 minute long voice notes and snaps she's been sending me.

Richelle has been at the set of DanceMania for a few days now, and I wake up to stuff like this every day. Whether it be about the actual competition, or this thing that is blossoming with a certain someone.

I don't know if her and Piper are actually dating yet. But, what I do know is that it will happen sometime in the week.

I'm happy for both of them. Richelle is a very strong hearted person. I've learned that after knowing her for so long. So, she doesn't date often. And if she has let Piper in even a bit, I'm certain that means she will be good for her.

Emily looks over at me when I chuckle at another one of her videos.

"Weren't you the one pestering me for being on my phone instead of working before?" She points out.

"Sorry" I say and put my phone back in my pocket, "Richelle was just giving me an update.

As expected, she just lets out a little "hm" and goes back to her work. I don't think I'll ever figure out what is going on there. Been wondering it for months, but Emily has a strong front.

I'm not going to let her ruin this for Richelle though when she comes back this weekend. She's really excited about everything that's happened. 

"She also said her and a few of the others are going to try see the team at nationals." I push on.

"Not sure how I'd feel about that."

"It's not all of them. Only Richelle, Jacquie, Amy, Summer, Henry...Finn"

She gives me a strange look for the pause, but I try not to meet her gaze. Anytime I so much as saw him after that while the DanceMania team was practicing, all I could think of was what James did. I just clear my throat and continue.

"Of-course Piper is going with her too." That causes her pen to stop short from where she is writing. Hope she didn't punch a hole in the file.

"What do you mean 'of-course'?" For the first time in the entirety of this year, Emily actually looks interested in something revolving Richelle. But, it has to do with Piper?

"I thought you would've heard some of the students talk about it, especially after that video Piper posted on her Instagram story this-"

"What video?!" Her attention is entirely on me now. Don't know how to take that. Especially since she interrupted me to ask.

"The one of Richelle kissing her during one of their rehearsals. I'm not sure if they're dating or anything, since she didn't say. But, it looks like there is...You good?"

Now I'm just cutting myself off. Emily is...I don't know what that expression on her face is. It looks like she has seen a ghost. But, like a really fucking gross one! 

It takes a few seconds for her to even acknowledge that I was still speaking. And when she does, she just goes back to her work.

"You know, I didn't expect you to care that much." I quirk an eyebrow at her.

"That's because I don't!" Both of us jump a bit when she raises her voice. I don't know what to do when she keeps glaring at me and panting like steam in coming out of her voice. 

Every part of her is shaking, and I want to reach out to her. To give her some form of comfort. Even if I don't know why she is reacting like this.

But, she pulls away.
