"I'm gonna die! I'm gonna die!"
A huge wave in front of the ship forced everyone to hold onto the railings. Jimbe is keeping the ship above water, but the weather is insane. We're in the middle of a blizzard, icebergs are under and above water, and the ship is being thrown around by waves. It's so crazy that the ocean threw an entire sea monster out and across the water.
"Furl the sails! The winds are too strong!" Jimbe ordered. Everyone on deck started rushing across the ship to get to the sails. This included Zoro and Sanji, who were somehow finding a way to argue in this situation. I could see them trying to push each other off the ropes to the main mast.
I jumped down from the mast I helped furl, landing beside Nami. "Are we at an island yet, Nami?" Jimbe asked from the wheel.
"I don't think it's that far away!" she replied. "I think we're in the climate range of an island. Maybe it's a harsh winter island!"
I threw the hood of my coat on and crossed my arms for warmth. "This next one is bound to be a let down after everything back on Wano," I hummed.
Nami let out a sigh and held herself tighter. "It's so cold, I just hope there's people there! I need a fire or anything close to it," she groaned, fidgeting in place.
"OI! Nami, what's that?!" Luffy called out from the figure head.
I turned around at his voice to look ahead of the ship. Nami was too focused on trying to climb the figure head to see a giant glowing ball of water protruding out of the surface of the sea. This was very clearly what Luffy was talking about. "Should I even be surprised?" I asked myself.
Nami jumped back down and yelled, "WHAT IS THAT?!"
"That's a big Warm Eddy!" Jimbe responded.
"Really?! That?!" Nami screamed. "Why is it in the air?!"
"A mass of warm water that was heated up must have been forced upwards," Jimbe responded calmly.
"How do I live in a world where those words are supposed to make sense," I sighed and facepalmed. The ship was very clearly heading in that direction. The thing was getting bigger.
Nami tried telling Jimbe to turn the ship in some other direction, but Luffy pointed out that someone was in there. Sanji agreed, saying he heard the cry of a lady coming from it. Upon closer inspection, I could faintly see a silhouette of a person swirling around in that death sphere. The good news is, we could maybe survive if the ship does get sucked up by the Warm Eddy.
"Even if that is someone, what can we do?!" Usopp reasoned.
Zoro started walking towards the front of the ship at that. "We can cut it..." he said.
Sanji walked up to him once he was with the rest of us. "If you give the lady even a scratch, I'll fillet you," the blond threatened.
"I'll kill you!" Zoro shouted in response.
I just realized this guy isn't even wearing a shirt. We are in the middle of a blizzard. Does his body not understand the concept of temperature? Or is his sense of touch lost as well?
"One-sword Style... Bird Dance!" He slashed his sword horizontally in front of him. The huge sphere of water, which seemed so far away, fell in two at that moment.
I didn't even have any time to think about that, though, because Chopper started flying away. And then Luffy was flying away. And then... a girl came flying out of the water that Zoro just cut. Luffy grabbed onto her, thankfully.
