Alice let out a content sigh, wiping her metal forehead beaded with sweat as she set down the last box in her new lab. Looking around she couldn't help but to be grateful. Her mind flashed back to that night when that male murder drone...N? Grabbed her and Beau from the sentinels that were about to eat them, telling her to wait in the safe room and he'd be back for them.

He kept his word, soon returning after they defeated Cyn. She soon went to go live in their colony, spotting Khan. They talked with one another, discussing when Alice was friends way back when with Nori and Yeva. He offered her a job to work in the labs, leading her to now.

I can't help but to think I got rather lucky, I can't thank that murder drone enough.

Looking to Beau, the little guy was running around all excitedly, ready to see new experiments come to life as he set up beakers and operational systems. She snickered at the little spider pill baby she called her son. Walking over to him she pats his head.

"You excited to be in the colony Beau?" She asked him, he couldn't talk but he nodded his body rather aggressively. She laughed at how he was so excited he couldn't use his morse code. "How about you go explore around? I'll take care of the rest." She offered. He ran off in a particular direction, her smile plastered on her face from her son being so damn cute.

While Alice was living what she thought was her happily ever after in a new lab, N, the male murder drone in question was sulking through the hallways. After defeating the solver, V managed to get with Thad, and to his surprise Uzi had something going on with Lizzy. Meaning he was left to be alone. His purpose was alternated, goals changed, and now? Well he was just...there. Existing.

As he passed by, he felt a small little being hit his leg, looking down he spotted Beau, Alice's...son? He guessed. He bent down and patted his head.

"Hey buddy, where's your mom?" Beau's pill baby screen loaded and he morse coded:

"Mama in lab, you go visit?"

"I guess I should, thanks bud!" Beau nodded his head and ran back off. N couldn't help but chuckle from his excitement. Walking further down the hall he spotted Alice in her lab through the door. She was setting up some kind of system. For some reason he felt a small tingle in his core.

Maybe I should see how she's doing?

The male knocked on the door as to not impose, seeing Alice turn her head, her optics hollowed a little at realizing who it was before smiling and coming to open the door. He greeted her with a little wave.

"N, come on in." Her sweet, southern voice came through to him like some kind of golden treasure. He automatically felt relaxed.

"Hey, I was just passing by the area and ran into your little guy out there. Figured I'd check up on you. So, new lab huh?" He inquired, Alice nodded her head happy and eager. She seemed different than before, less depressed, more willing to give life an actual chance instead of living in revenge and anger. He was happy to see it.

"Yeah, Khan gave me a job here, I couldn't be more thankful. Thank you for saving us N. Especially Beau, I thought he'd live his whole life down there..."

"Well, you guys are safe now, and in this lab. S-Speaking of which..." N stuttered as he got an idea, "What if I helped you out in here? You know, I could run and get materials for you or help to do experiments. Just...something."

He didn't want to sound desperate, but he needed company badly. Not that Uzi shut him out or anything, but they didn't hang out as much as they used to anymore, the trio split up after saving the universe, making the occasional gathering that felt like a requirement. Perhaps if he were happy too, he'd enjoy it more.
