N returned to his consciousness, immediately shooting up and throwing the hacking device connected to his head aside. He looked at V with angry tears in his optics, shaking his head.

"I trusted you! I trusted you and you just-" He waved his hands around, expressing his fit of frustration. Uzi sat back watching the scene play out.

"N, please, let's just talk this ou-"

"The last time we tried to 'talk this out' we got KILLED!"

"..."

"..." N sighed as the female murder drone went quiet from trying to reason with him, guilt covered her optics like some sort of defense shield, pissing him off even more. "I need to be alone. Don't follow me."

With that, N stormed out and into the halls of the bunker, wondering aimlessly. His anger fueled him to the brink at V's secrets. If what he saw back at the manner was just the tip of the iceberg, then what else was she hiding?

I doubt she'd willingly tell me...

His core pinged with pain, unsure of where to go now. The female murder drone was still probably in shock by his sudden shift in personality at Uzi's place, but he couldn't go back to the landing pod either. As he walked, he spotted a golden plate with the name: Vickers. Blush lines came to his visor, remembering a certain blond worker. He slowly approached the door.

Maybe Lizzy could...let me stay for awhile?

His knocks were subtle, gentle in a way. He heard the sweet girl's voice box shout a comment, "Coming!" Lizzy opened the door to find N, looking a little rough. "Hey N, everything good? What brings you here?"

"Uh, yeah. Hey Lizzy. I was wondering if I could just...come in for a bit?"

"What happened?" The blonde worker crossed her arms and leaned on the door, the way her body adjusted made the male murder drone hunch in on himself a little. He could feel his tail drooping, the pain in his core becoming more frequent by the second. The expression in his optics went from blank to sad.

"It's a long story...but I guess I found out the truth and got into a fight with V over it."

N's words surprised Lizzy, but guiltily enough, the blond worker wanted to take this to her advantage, so she stepped to the side and let him in. She always had a crush on N ever since she spotted him breaking into the bunker. Call her strange, but to her, he could do more with those claws than just murder. N was a drone who would do anything for his friends, and even people he didn't know all that well.

The dude was even willing to betray the company that created him to settle for a not-so-secure bunker.

I'm going to make him feel better!

Lizzy hyped herself up, secretly egging on motivations in her head while leading him into the kitchen. Unsure of what to say to him, she looked over and saw how N just seemed to slump in the chair and put his head down in defeat like he was some little kid that got in trouble at school. There was no recollection in her memories of ever seeing him this sad before, it was a first. Averting her gaze to the environment around them, she clapped her hands in excitement, making N lift his head a bit to look at her.

Her smile was so bright it could light up a room. Lizzy had a way of making people feel better, no matter what it was. N admired her ability to be able to accommodate to almost everyone in the bunker, it made him feel good to know such a person, even if he didn't feel like he was that way himself.

"How about we make cookies? That would be fun!" She suggested, making his head tilt in confusion.

"What are...cookies?"

"Oh. My. Robo. God. You have been living under a rock!" Lizzy ran over to his side of the counter and hugged his arm, that flushed visor making an appearance once again. "You poor baby! We are going to make some nice chocolate chip cookies, and you will experience a whole new world of flavors!"

The blond worker began to hustle her little worker unit around the kitchen, grabbing ingredients just based off of memory before getting the actual recipe book. She babbled on about how to correctly mix ingredients, making sure the wet and dry ingredients were mixed separately before adding them together, everything.

And N fell even more in love with her for it.

Oh, how he wished he could hug her waist from behind while she mixed the dough together flawlessly, kissing her neck and telling her how beautiful she was. He wished he could run his fingers through her hair and listen to her moans while he fu-

"N? N!" Lizzy snapped the male murder drone back to reality, making him fall back from how close her visor was with his. She just giggled and threw a bag of flour to him. "We need to finish gathering the rest of the ingredients, go ahead and put that on the table, I'm going to go look for some sugar."

I got some sugar for you right here~.

They finished gathering the ingredients required to assemble the delicious warm baked treat. N watched Lizzy over her shoulder as she mixed everything, watching each measurement flow into her hands with grace, baking was a strange skill she had acquired, but that was just from an interest in it.

A hobby.

N looked at how hard the blond worker was concentrating, a little bit of the dough flew up onto her cheek as she mixed it with a whisk, the male murder drone behind her taking a glance at it. He slowly wrapped an arm around her waist, causing Lizzy to stiffen and immediately stop what she had been doing.

His thumb wiped her cheek, making optical contact with her, he licked the dough off his digit and hummed in delight with how sweet it was. Lizzy's visor flushed a bright pink, her mouth parting a little from shock.

Did...did he just-!

In a swift movement she grabbed the fur of his parka and pulled him down to her level, their lips smashed together and N let out a surprised muffle. It took a second to register what exactly she just did, but she felt his hands wrap tighter around her waist and he tilted his head to deepen their mouthful connection. Lizzy herself moaned from the attention.

They pulled apart and looked at one another, smiling.

This was going to be an interesting conversation, and a really good batch of cookies.
