A/N: Request from @SpeedyHen1234 N x V.  This takes place after EP. 2 happened.  this is part one of four, enjoy!

"I get you're upset and everything but, what am I being punished for?" V complained to the sulking N in the corner. Uzi, his new friend, was completely afraid of him now, and he didn't know how to fix it. Prom was in about a week or so, maybe he could talk to her then? Completely dismissing V's question, the two murder bots heard a crash outside. N went to go run and check it out but got held back "Dude! Let me out of these chains!" V scolded him.

"Oh, right, sorry!"

The two managed to get out of the landing pod just in time to see yet another spaceship like theirs crash just outside of the spire, creating one hell of a crater for itself. V got into a fighting stance, trading her hands for claws, her wings out and tail ready to swing, meanwhile N got one of his machine guns out, taking aim at whatever was about to pop out of there.

A female murder drone flew out, doing a flip in the air with her wings before making a graceful landing, retracing said flying appendages and her tail swinging seductively back and forth. The two's stances faltered when looking at the drone in front of them. She looked like J, the same work dress, except her polo seemed to be a dark maroon, and her hair long hair was down, reaching midway down her back, the only thing decorating the silver hair was the corporate headband containing their other optical sensors. The female looked at the two in front of her, placing her hands on her hips and smiled.

"Well hello there! I assume you two are Serial Designations V and N?" She asked, they looked at each other before looking back to her, getting rid of their weapons they nodded.

"What's it to you?" V spat out, still on-edge about the sudden appearance of this murder drone.

"That's fair enough," She saluted before introducing herself, "My name is Serial Designation K! I'm here to replace J since she failed in her mission to protect both herself and her squad."

"So you're our new squad leader?" N asked and K nodded.

"Yep! We'll continue our mission and be off here in no time!" K smiled, she couldn't stop staring at N, making the male disassembly drone uncomfortable while V cleared her throat, getting K's attention.

"Well...things are a little different now but I guess you could come inside. N? What do you think?" V asked, catching him off-guard. Normally V never asked for his opinion on anything, but he just shrugged.

"I don't see the harm in getting to know her, but we'll have to explain who Uzi is to her." He replied, V only rolled her optics, secretly hoping he'd disagree with her and send K back to Earth somehow. Or kill her, that would work just as well, sending her database systems back to the company.

The trio waltzed into the landing pod currently being repaired by the absent purple worker, K looked around before taking a seat in V's usual spot as N sat across from her. V snarled a little at the inconvenience and sat in the chair J used to file paperwork in. N soon began to explain who Uzi was, and what they have learned so far, even the horrific eldritch J they came across. K looked to them with confusion in her optics, but she just shrugged her shoulders.

"I mean, I figured the company wasn't all that great, but if that's inside of us we should definitely be questioning what the company plans to do with us afterwards. Why install that in us if they planned to take us back? It's not adding up." K inquired, now deep into the conversation. N became excited at how quickly she sided with his point of view.

"Okay, what's with you? Murder drones don't just decide to switch sides that quickly!" V stomped her peg of a leg, now just pissed off at how well she was getting along with N. She didn't want to admit it, but she was jealous of how well the two were getting along.

"I'm not faking it if that's what you're asking. This does generally seem like an issue, and from the memories I saw on N's visor he's telling the truth. It's a genuine concern, V. Don't you think?" K's words made V silent for a moment. She didn't want N to dive deep into that stuff for a reason, remembering what happened to them back at the manner. The mere thought made her shiver.

"Just-! Don't look much into it, we still don't know what we're dealing with." V muttered before strutting to her room. K only nodded and held her hands up in defense, leaving her and N in the control room. She noticed how N seemed concerned for V's well-being.

Time to take the edge off...

K made a cute little smile towards N, swinging her tail around in an attempt to outline her body to him, she got up and went behind his chair, softly tracing her hand on the ruff and torn material.

"You know N, you seem like a really nice guy, I'm sorry V treats you like that. You deserve to be here just as much as anyone." She said, N's audio sensors perked up at her words and looked over his shoulder to face her, smiling.

"You really think so?" As the two continued to talk, it turns out V hadn't gone to her room at all, instead she was spying on the two behind a wall in the hallway. She pressed her teeth together, hands clenching in anger, her body shaking at K with jealousy.

Game on, bitch.
