"I love the both of you." N admitted to the two girls in front of him, visor flushed.
V and Doll looked at him, the both of them somewhat shocked. The red workers glance went from him to V herself, only to find the female murder drone looking back at her.
I guess...we could learn to be together.
"Maybe we need to go back to the bunker...get some sleep before we talk things over." Doll offered, they couldn't exactly sleep in the trailer considering the only thing to sleep on were the couches. N and V nodded, all of them went completely quiet.
Offering his back to Doll, N picked the worker up and extended his wings, they were a bit bigger than V's. Whether or not that was because he was considered a male murder drone or if there was just something different with his programming, they were beautiful either way. Each feather sharpened like a knife and ready to strike at anything that came its way.
Including workers like her. But that was in the past.
V shared a look of jealousy, the female murder drone didn't want to admit it but she actually wanted to carry Doll back to the bunker. She thought deeper about all that happened and transpired over the last couple of years. She remembered killing Yeva and her husband. She even spotted Doll hiding in a crevice that day but...for some reason she left the Russian girl alone.
And she was glad she did.
The breeze of the cold night on Copper-9 was welcomed by all three of them, desperately needing the cool air after their previous...activities. They were all ready to get some sleep, considering the concert and then some. They dipped down to find the doors to the bunker already opening for them, N nodded his head in thanks while landing to the ground, V lingering not too far behind and teasing the guards by wagging her stinger in front of their faces. Doll however just gave her a cold and hard stare, silently telling her to back off. She rolled her optics and obeyed.
V decided to play another little scheme as N set the red worker down. The female murder drone swooped in and picked Doll up herself, a little yelp coming out of her as a result. V using her hands to support Doll's ass, making up the excuse to grope her up a little bit while giving her a sly smile.
"What is this about?" N asked, but V only shrugged.
"What? I can't carry my girlfriend? Since when did they make that a rule?" She remarked, making both N and Doll flush at the label. They hadn't completely talked about it yet, but V was getting awfully comfortable with it, considering they already figured their answers and decisions would stay the same.
"Let's just go..." Doll muttered, nuzzling her head into V's chest. It was soft like a pillow, lulling her off into a nice and peaceful little sleep she desperately needed. Sleep deprivation waited for no one, and that was the harsh truth. (A/N: literally, I'm nocturnal at this point.) On the way there, the two murder drones spoke of pointless little things, V throwing out a sexual innuendo here and there, but his arm wrapped around her shoulder. They both looked at Doll, then to each other. The both of them nodding in a small and silent agreement.
No matter the circumstances, they were going to decide to be together, it made the most sense.
They reached her place of residence, opening the door with the key around her wrist before stepping inside. The smell of oil overwhelmed them as a huge sheet was put back over her parents, and oil was still coated all over the kitchen.
