A/N: Not a request, but I've had a BookWorm!Uzi x N head-cannon in my mind the past couple of days so I wrote it. I'll probably eventually elaborate a little more with this in the future but for now it's just a cute little one-shot. It's also SPICY so beware. Grab a yummy drink and snack and enjoy my hungry little readers~.
It had been a couple of years after Cyn was defeated, their lives returning back to a norm, for the part. Uzi and N became known as the 'power couple' of the bunker, much to Rebecca and Darren's dismay. (A/N: Yes, they are still alive in this world okay just go with it!) Even Lizzy was jealous of them, constantly clinging onto V who was being sent mixed signals. Despite anyone else's best-efforts relationship wise, the purple worker and male murder drone by far were the most well-known.
N didn't mind, he was happy to let others know Uzi was his, shouting the occasional: "That's my girlfriend!" mantra. But the purple worker would get embarrassed, not use to so much attention around her, causing herself to get closed off again, isolating herself more. That's when it happened. She was wondering around one of the old city's near the colony and ran into a destroyed book store. Unsure of what the construction was at first, she went in with defense, her wings out and Cyn-tail ready to bite. However, the only thing she came across was the wonderful world of words on paper as far as the optic could see.
It started with lightly skimming over one book, to reading the whole thing, then another, and another. This went on for months, she would bring about two books with her back to the colony per week, eventually gathering so many that she needed to create a separate area with a reading nook and shelves. Her own little library. All of the books were a nice distraction for her, something to get her mind off of any strange encounter or even the past they all endured. Mix that with a lovable boyfriend and she had it made.
All was good and well, Uzi and N's relationship thrived from wholesome little romance stories she read here and there, that was until that fateful day. The purple worker made her way to the bookstore like normal, having just finished the sci-fi section, she now approached the next genre.
"What is Dark...Romance?" She asked herself, visor blushing slightly. Opening the first book she laid eyes across, a certain page full of nothing but passion came across her, squeaking she quickly closed the book and threw it a few feet away from her. She could feel her core humming hard, a new feeling coming across her. Drones could preform the same sexual actions as humans could, as to whatever pervert invented that she didn't know, but didn't bother to think on it too hard. Along with that, it came across with hormones as well, rubbing her legs together at the scene she read.
"I...really shouldn't dirty a book, it could break it's spine! Yeah..." She used that excuse to walk over to the book she threw, picking it back up. She tucked it into her arm along with another one on the shelf right next to the copies, before flying off.
Little did she know that would change her perspective forever. The first taint to her storage, the first time lust would take hold of her, and certainly not the last. Over time, about a month or so later to be exact, she kept reading the books while hiding them from N. The male murder drone himself noticed this, along with noticing how she seemed to keep making strange advances.
He wasn't sure precisely what they were, she would shove her chest against him sometimes, cuddle him in strange ways that were suggestive, she even began to kiss him and have more heated make out sessions. He assumed this was something called "the prime of their lives" as the humans would call it. The male murder drone soon noticed changes in himself too, particularly more or so a throbbing in his lower hatch that would occur whenever said worker made these advances. Finally getting fed up by his body what Uzi was wanting, he marched into her library, looking around to see what she was reading to influence such behavior.
