I was at the kitchen, baking some cookies for me and my mom. Since I have  no school tomorrow, she took the day off. Today we wanted to make a girls night.

The warm cookie air entered my nouse and I started smiling. Furthermore I listened to Cornelia Street - one of my favourite songs mom has ever written -.

As the door cracked open I turned around waiting for her to come in the kitchen. "Hello Mom", I yelled, so she knew where I was.

"Hello Darling", she responded. Her footsteps came closer and finally she entered the kitchen.

I wrapped my arms around her to gave her a hug. She placed a tender kiss on my forehead before hugging me back.

"How's you day?" She asked with her soft tone. "It was great, what about yours?" I pulled back to look her in the eyes.

She didn't answer, she raised an eyebrow before lifting my chin. Taylor leaned down to take a closer look at my Neck.

I knew exactly what she's looking at. "Would you mind explaining me, why theres a hikey?" Her voice was dangerous silent, I knew all too well how bad she wanted to yell at me.

"Uhm so it's not what you think it is", I started off but I knew Mom wasn't dumb.

"Yeah Yeah it was the vacuum cleaner,  no it wasn't, Y/N Swift what is that?", she yelled the last part.

"It w-was my boyfriend."

Now Taylor lost her cool. "YOU'RE BOYFRIEND?" her eyes widened, the soft blue in them turned into cold blue.

"Iam sorry Momma", I winced but Taylor was in rage mode. "Y/N Marjorie Swift, I've raised you better than this. How long have you two been a couple?" She yelled.

"6 Month?" It sounded like a question, cause I was so afraid of her. "Why didn't you tell me?" She screamed.

I've never seen her angry in this way- it was scary.

"Mom Iam 18", I whsipered. She took a big breath and closed her eyes. "Y/N it's just- I don't like you growing up so fast", she mumbled, I could see a tear escaping her eye.

I took her hand in the middle of my hands and looked up to her. "Iam sorry for not telling you this mom", I looked down, Iam really sorry.

"What about I make us some coffee and we talk on the patio, like we used to?" She gave me a small smile. "I'll make the coffee, you go outside and rest a bit", I demanded with a smile.

She left the kitchen, I prepared everything, the cookies were still warm and they smelled so good.

5 minutes later we sat on the couch on the terrace, with a blanket. Taylor had her arm wrapped around me, and I rested my head on her shoulder.

It was the first time in 6 years that we sat like this. "So tell me about him" She asked, I turned red.

"He works at starbucks and everyday I used to sit alone on that one table, till he spent his breaks with me and the breaks turned into dates", I whispered.

"Do you have sex with him?" I blushed at this question. One month ago we had sex for the first time. It was also my first time ever having sex.

"Y-yes", I stuttered it was embarrassing admitting this to her. "Was it your first time?" I digged my face in her chest. "Mom stop", I cried, cousing Taylor to laugh.

"Honey I just want you to be careful. I wasn't and beeing a mom in your age is hard. At first I thought it was the worst and it was really demanding, but now Iam grateful to have such a young pretty woman, which I can call my daughter", Taylor said, she lifted my chin.

Her blue eyes were sparkling and she had a comforting smile.

She pressed her lips on my forehead. "Please be careful Darling", she whispered, before she pulled me on her lap.

"But if he ever hurts you Iam going to beat the shit out of him", she added. "Thank you Mam", I giggled, tired.

Taylor started singing never grow up, it was silent and comforting, I fell asleep in her arms.

The next day I woke up in her bed, Taylor had her arms still wrapped around me. "Goodmorning Babygirl", she whispered in my ear.

"Good morning Mam", I wrapped my arms around her. "Thank you for caring", I smiled into her shoulder.

"Ofcourse Darling."
