Chapter 45

**Reid's P.O.V. **

"Alright people, it's our third week out here and still nothing so we can't just sit around anymore, we have to move out and cover the ground, move in on these assholes" Carrie began the briefing for the day

"We do have the element of surprise but these bastards are prepared for anything so we have to be too!" she continued as she handed us all files "these are the 5 men we need dead, no questions asked do you hear me?" Carrie warns as she looks around the room making sure we all understand

"Alright, lets head out and split up when we get there" Carrie finished as she stood up to walk out

The rest of the team walked out first but Carrie held me back for a minute.

"Be safe Spence" she looked at me worried

"We're going to be fine ok! We're going to take these scumbags out" I smiled reassuringly as I kissed her softly on the lips

We stood in front of each other for a minute in silence before leaving the apartment and following the rest of the team.

We arrived outside a huge town house in the middle of Islamabad city. We split up and took the east and west side of the guard walls. We had it timed right that these walls were in the middle of a shift switch so for 5 minutes it was un-manned and that was our window of opportunity.

"Start climbing, get in there and wait at the corners of the building near any entrances" Carrie ordered as we all found ways over the wall and into the crevices of the building

Max had stayed behind and hid the van out of sight, in the van he had all his computer and software equipment so he had a bird's eye view of the area and could tell us what was going on, in and outside the house. A week earlier the building was vacant so we wired all main rooms and placed cameras. Hopefully they have not bug swept the house since then, or we would be in serious trouble

I crept around to a corner of the building which had a clear view of the window to someone's office which was currently empty.

"I've found an entrance to an office, the room is vacant and this type of window is easily opened, I'm going in" I whispered over the mic

"Go ahead Reid" Carrie gave clearance "report when safely in and Peter will follow" she finished

I picked the lock of the window with ease and cautiously climbed inside and walked to the centre of the room to do a sweep

Then I heard a click at the back of my head

"Hello Dr Reid, I've been waiting for you" I heard the man's deep voice echo through my ears with a strong Pakistani accent

I swallowed loudly and stood deathly still
