After their conversation, Charlotte became determined to get closer to Engfa, to soothe her sister's worries. She started planning small surprises to make Engfa feel more at ease. One afternoon, as golden sunlight filtered through the trees, casting soft beams on the ground, Charlotte decided to cook Engfa's favorite dish - spicy chicken curry, rich with flavor. She felt happy at the thought of bringing joy to Engfa.

When Engfa returned home after a long day, the mouthwatering aroma from the kitchen brought a smile to her face, a sense of warmth spreading through her.

• "Charlotte, what smells so good?" Engfa asked, stepping into the kitchen with an eager look in her eyes.

Charlotte was standing by the stove, gently stirring the simmering curry.

• "I made your favorite curry," Charlotte replied, her face shining like sunlight. "Just sit down and wait a moment, okay?"

Engfa sat down at the dining table, her eyes sparkling as she looked at the delicious dish. Charlotte brought out a steaming plate of curry, accompanied by a side of pristine white rice. They enjoyed the meal together, laughter filling the kitchen like a joyous melody.

• "You make this better than my mom," Engfa teased, her eyes playfully squinting as she savored the dish.

• "Really? Then I'll make it more often!" Charlotte laughed back, her eyes sparkling with pride.

The meal took place in a cozy atmosphere, where all worries seemed to melt away. After dinner, as the city lights began to flicker on, Charlotte noticed a lingering silence from Engfa that made her anxious. Unable to bear the silence, she decided to address it head-on.

After finishing up the day's tasks, Charlotte gently pulled Engfa closer, her eyes brimming with emotion as though holding the entire world. She looked deeply into Engfa's eyes and softly asked:

• "What's bothering you, Engfa?"

Engfa hesitated, her gaze distant, as if searching for words in her subconscious. After a moment, she blurted out the pent-up frustration she had been holding in for days:

• "You still keep in touch with your old colleagues, even the agents... I don't know where I stand in your heart anymore."

Charlotte was momentarily taken aback by Engfa's words but quickly returned her gaze with a gentle smile. She held Engfa's hand, pressing it against her cheek as if to share her warmth and peace.

• "Engfa, you're the only one I love. Those contacts are just work-I only want to finish my duties to the best of my ability."

Charlotte's words felt like a cool balm, easing Engfa's worries. She felt as if she'd escaped a nightmare. She leaned on Charlotte's shoulder, and they held each other close, feeling each other's heartbeat to dispel any lingering doubts. That conversation helped Engfa realize she had let her emotions overshadow her reason. She regretted doubting Charlotte and vowed not to let jealousy affect their relationship again.

From then on, they made it a point to spend more time together after work, creating small but warm routines, like sharing dinners, strolling through the park, or reading together. One night, they sat side by side, reading a book they both enjoyed. Charlotte leaned on Engfa's shoulder, and together they explored each page, laughing and sometimes sighing at the touching moments.

• "Do you think one day we'll have our own story like this?" Charlotte asked, her eyes shining.

• "I wish we could write it ourselves," Engfa replied, a warm smile spreading across her lips. "But the important thing is that we're together, right?"

• "That's right," Charlotte said, smiling at Engfa. "As long as I have you, I believe everything will be okay."

Another evening, as they sat under a sky full of stars, the stars glittering like diamonds falling from the heavens, Charlotte pulled Engfa closer, pointing to the sky.

• "Look, aren't the stars beautiful?" Charlotte said, her smile radiant like the starlight.

• "I always feel peaceful when I look at them," Engfa replied, her gaze filled with emotion. "Thank you for always being here for me."

In that moment, all anxieties and jealousies seemed to fade away. Engfa felt that these close moments helped her trust Charlotte more. She told herself that as long as she had Charlotte's love, she could overcome any insecurity. Together, they looked out over the city lights, the reflections glimmering in their eyes, reminding them that in both work and love, trust is the most important foundation.

The atmosphere was filled with love and hope, their hearts entwined, writing their own love story with challenges, misunderstandings, but also deep understanding and acceptance. In their world, everything seemed perfect, and they knew that together, they could face any trial.
