After the war, the market in Samui carries a fresh and vibrant beauty. No longer the scenes of destruction or the heavy silence, instead, there is the liveliness and joy of the local people's lives here. Under the warm golden sunlight, the stalls are filled with colors, creating a vivid picture with the sounds of vendors calling out, laughter, and inviting greetings.

The market in Samui is full of vitality with bustling activities, where people not only sell goods but also socialize, chat, creating a cheerful and friendly atmosphere. The bright yellow sunlight shines down on every corner of the market, making everything more lively and attractive. The vendors wear traditional outfits with bright colors. The elderly women with sun-kissed skin, neatly tied white hair, wearing ao ba ba and scarves, greet customers with smiles. Young mothers choose long dresses, usually made of cool cotton, with bright floral patterns, convenient for movement, and showing their grace. The little ones run and play alongside their mothers, often wearing bright-colored t-shirts and comfortable shorts, carefree and contributing to the liveliness of the market.

Each stall is eye-catching, with colorful awnings not only protecting the goods from the sun but also creating colorful patches in the urban area. The fruit and vegetable stalls are neatly arranged, with baskets full of ripe fruits such as fresh red watermelon, shiny yellow mangoes, and cool green coconuts. The aroma of fruits fills the air, making anyone passing by stop.

- "Buy some watermelon! Very sweet watermelon!" A middle-aged man, with sun-darkened skin, calls out while cutting a fresh and delicious piece of watermelon for customers to try.

- "Ma'am, try this fruit! Very sweet, only 30 baht per kilogram!" A young mother stands next to the fruit counter, holding her child and a coconut she just bought.

They can see busy vendors, skillfully preparing food, like a vendor selling khanom jeen - fresh rice noodles, where a man stands in front of a wood stove, skillfully preparing flour and cutting noodles, then adding sauce and raw vegetables to each plate.

- "Fresh and delicious khanom jeen here! Buy a portion, it's delicious with the sauce!" The vendor calls out with a resounding voice.

- "Give me two portions!" Marima speaks up, while Charlotte laughs, mimicking the tone of the vendor.

People move around in crowds, while laughter, calls, and folk music blend together. Couples and families stroll together, admiring the stalls, enjoying delicious food.

A corner of the market has a food cart, where smoke rises from large pots. They sell som tam (papaya salad) and other traditional dishes. The sizzling sound of the pan, along with the fragrant aroma of spices, creates an irresistible atmosphere.

- "Buy som tam, it's sour and spicy, great with grilled meat!" A middle-aged woman calls out, her face bright, always smiling.

- "Give me a plate, just finished cooking!" Charlotte eagerly says, winking at Marima as the two stand near the food cart.

Every call, every laughter, all create a vivid picture in the bustling market space. The people here have overcome difficulties and sorrows, now they enjoy simple but precious moments together, showing the strong vitality of life after the war. Traditional costumes, vibrant colors, and warm smiles make everyone passing by feel close and familiar.
