When they arrived at the hospital, everyone was ready to treat their wounds. Engfa and Charlotte were taken into the emergency room, but each of them felt more at ease. They had fought for each other, and now, with the support of friends, they would continue their journey together.

After a week in the hospital, Engfa and Charlotte quickly recovered. They felt excited to return to normal life, free from the anxieties and fears of before. Engfa returned to her familiar home, while Charlotte was facilitated by Mr. Thuniwad with a new house in the center of Bangkok, just a 15-minute drive from her workplace.

After gaining independence, the government implemented many reforms, and those who contributed to the war were promoted. Engfa was appointed as a senior officer at the Ministry of Defense of Thailand, while Charlotte, with her outstanding talent, was promoted to the position of team leader in intelligence and security, holding the rank of First Lieutenant Austin, working alongside Engfa.

The inauguration and honoring ceremony took place grandly in a large hall, attended by many dignitaries and colleagues. Engfa entered in a black military uniform, looking strong and dignified. The shiny insignia of a senior officer on her shoulder made her stand out in the crowd.

Charlotte wore a black velvet dress, designed with a modest front but a daring back cut, accentuating her alluring curves. Although the dress was somewhat sexy, its elegant design maintained the formality required for the ceremony.

As the two appeared in a limited-edition black vintage car, the atmosphere around them became vibrant. Admiring and respectful glances were directed at them. Engfa could not take her eyes off Charlotte, her heart filled with emotions. She felt both love and jealousy at the sight of her attractive young lieutenant.

“You look so beautiful, Lieutenant Austin,” Engfa exclaimed upon seeing Charlotte, her voice filled with pride and a hint of teasing.

“Thank you, Officer Wahara, but look at you! That uniform suits you perfectly,” Charlotte replied with a smile.

They walked into the hall where the inauguration ceremony was taking place. Formal speeches praised their contributions to the war. Each compliment warmed Engfa and Charlotte's hearts. They knew that their efforts and sacrifices had been acknowledged.

When it came time for the insignia presentation, Engfa and Charlotte stood next to each other. Engfa was proud to receive recognition from her superiors, but what made her happiest was standing next to Charlotte.

“I will always be by your side,” Engfa told Charlotte, her eyes filled with determination.

Charlotte nodded, feeling grateful to have Engfa beside her. They had gone through many challenges, and now they both stood firm in important positions, stepping into a new phase of life together.

The ceremony ended with joy and continuous applause. They left the hall and moved to a banquet at a large restaurant in the center of Bangkok. Both promised to always support and accompany each other on the journey ahead.

On the way to the restaurant, Engfa gently took Charlotte's hand, feeling the warmth from her small hand.

“We will achieve many great things, right?” Engfa said, her eyes sparkling with hope.

“Absolutely, sister. Together, we will make a difference!” Charlotte replied, her voice filled with happiness.

They laughed, not only because of what they had accomplished but also because of what awaited them in the future. Their love and support for each other would always be the motivation for both to strive and rise above any difficulties ahead.

Today, Engfa was thrilled that the honoring event had been a success. As the daughter of the Minister of Defense—Mr. Thuniwad Wahara—she had to entertain many distinguished guests who came to congratulate the family. The atmosphere in the banquet hall was lively, with laughter and conversation echoing everywhere, blending with the sounds of live music. Engfa had consumed quite a bit of alcohol, not only to enjoy herself but also to ease the pressures of a long day.
