Chapter 11: Live Wire - Oh Wonder

"Elaine?"

"Hm?"

"Why are you so mad?" I lean against the car. 

"What the fuck do you mean!? You're ex walks into the same store we are in randomly! She then talks to you and flirts with you and don't act like I didn't notice because I noticed her before we were even in the store, and to top it all off. You allow her to kiss you! Like you know she's a snake! God she's such a bitch!" I start to walk off before he grabs my wrist and spin me around.

"What!?" He grabs my face and pulls me in places his lips on mine. We stood there frozen for a second but then began to deepen the kiss. I played with his hair and he stroked my hair. He pulls me a bit closer even tho he is still carrying me. I smile during the kiss. So this is what it is like to be in love. I held him tight and find let go. We let the rain pour on us we didn't care. By the end of our kiss which lasted a small bit we were soaked. He kissed my neck and I clutched his beanie and placed it into my head. He laughed and set me down. We walked to the car, grabbed Chipotle for us and the rest at home. We pulled up to the house and parked in the garage. Before we reach the door he pulls me in one more time for a very short sweet and soft kiss. I allowed his scent to surround me. He smelled fucking amazing. It was manly but was on the lighter side. It wasn't too strong or too faint. Just right. Aleks pulled back and kissed me on the forehead. I grabbed his hand as we walked into the house.

The whole place was clean to the max. The carpet was vacuumed and was wet washed. I walk on the pathway of towels to the kitchen and set down the OJ. I then make my way to my bathroom and place one roll of TP and my toiletries. I then grab the rest if the TP and put some into the 2nd and 3rd bathroom. The rest I put in the closet. I made my way over to the dining room and set down plates for everyone. Then I put everyone's meal and placed a card over each wrapper/box saying whose was whose.

"LUNCH!" I scream as I hear the opening and slamming of doors and footsteps racing towards me.

As soon as everyone was settled I plopped down next to Aleks and he grabbed my hand. We looked at each other for a moment and he placed his arm around my waist. Our dining room table was like a booth so it wasn't uncomfortable. I scooted closet and dug into my meal. At some point he released his arm to eat his bowl. I had a small salad since I was on a diet in a way. I felt fat so I cut back on my eating sizes even though I am probably a very small size and could still shop in the juniors. Aleks glanced at me and furrowed his eyebrows.

"What?" I said in between bites.

"Um, well you can't just eat something that small. I mean, your tiny for gods sake." I bite my lip. He was right, I did need more but I guess I didn't mind. The food was good and healthy.

"Here. Eat some of this." He handed me a small bowl of rice. I try to push it back but he just puts it right in front of me. Sly giggles as he takes a sip of his soda. Whitney finishes up and takes her plate to the kitchen. She comes back a second later and sits next to Jake. He gives her a kiss on the head and wraps his arm around her shoulder. I grab a fork and take a bite of my salad. I finish it off and I take my plate to the kitchen. Aleks follows me with his plate and hugs me from behind as soon as he set his plate down.

"Baby girl you need to eat and you know it." I place my hands on his.

"I know."

"I want you to be healthy. It's time to turn your life around."

"I know Aleks. Thank you." I turn around and give him a light peck which turns into a soft and lustful kiss. A voice clears behind us and we break apart.
