12. I'm So Tired

Chapter 12: I'm So Tired - Lauv and Troye Sivan

I woke up to Elaine's alarm. It started playing SIYR but only the instrumentals. I checked the time. 4:00. Ugh well may as well just relax. I look down at Elaine to see her face buried into my shirt. She had a pile of hair in her face which I brushed out of the way. She started to stir and cuddle closer. Her head was laying on my chest with one hand resting lazily around my stomach. She started to shake but then shivered, I pulled a blanket over her shoulders as she feasted easily and I pulled her in.

Stroking her hair I lean down and kiss her head. She snaps her eyes open and looked around. She smiled easily when she saw me. How does she make herself so gorgeous to look at. I mean she isn't even wearing makeup. We sit up and she stretches. I forgot that she was wearing my shirt. She looked so gorgeous in it... I get up and kiss her on the nose.

"I am going to put your stuff in the car." I slip out of her room and tip toe down the hall. As soon as I get to the living room I see Eddie sitting there with his arms crossed. What now?

"Dude what was Elaine doing in your room?" He demands.

"Uhh." I quickly run my hands through my hair. Oh no.

"Um I was waking her up..."

"Liar." He growls and storms up to me. He then forms a huge smile and giggles softly.

"DUDE! I'm happy for you. You did it right?" He asks eyes full of excitement.

"Uh no actually."

"WHAT! But I saw you two kiss."

"Well that's the thing. I didn't ask. I was going to but we got into a fight and I got so mad that she was upset so I grabbed her and kissed her. Stephanie showed up and Elaine saw me with her and Stephanie pulled her dumb shit so Elaine got mad. She thought I didn't love her. So I showed her how much I honestly do." He smiles and walks over to the kitchen. He grabs a pop tart and sits at the breakfast bar. I sigh and grab Elaine's things and pack them in the trunk. I run back to the apartment and walk into Elaine's room. She was sitting at the edge of her bed brushing her hair struggling to undo a knot. I sit behind her and grab her hairbrush and lightly brush it untangling the knot. I finished brushing her whole head and braided it. After I finished I tied it and kiss her neck from behind.

"How did you know how to braid hair?"

"I have a sister who taught me." She giggles and gets up. She walks over to her closet and grabs a few clothes. I leave her room so she could change and go into mine. This is the happiest I have ever felt in my whole life. I decide to wear something comfortable but doesn't look like I hopped out of bed. I changed my shirt and put on a black shirt and slipped my Brother Blake hoodie. I grab some jeans and  vans and quickly comb my hair. Quickly I grab my backpack and walk out and join Natalie, Eddie and Ze in the kitchen. Elaine came out shortly afterwards wearing dark skinny jeans, a black top with a green sweater, and black boots.

"Ready?" Elaine asks.

"Yeah." We all say at once. She grabs my hand and grabs her purse. She gives me a kiss then we all walk out the door.

It was 5:00 and we were at the airport waiting for our flight.

"Hey I'm going to get something to eat, do you want anything?" Sly asks.

"Yeah sure can you get me a tea and a small box of Cereal." I reply. He nods and runs off. Aleks chuckles and puts his arm around me. I look up and give him a kiss on the cheek. How hasn't he asked me out yet? I mean we weren't dating but we were kissing! Maybe he was still in shock from Stephanie and maybe a little from Bryan. I close my eyes and rest my head on his shoulder.
