Chapter 15: Medicine - Daughter~•^*^•~Elaine's POV~•^*^•~
I was chilling on the main couch. It was our last day at PAX and it was already coming to an end. Aleks was napping on the bed and Sly was out with Natalie. Since it was starting to get late I flipped on the Tv to look for a good show. I settled on Ridiculousness on MTV and laughed at every video so much I cried. There was a marathon going on so I ended up watching 2 and a half hours of it. There was still a slice or two of pizza left which I heated up during a commercial.
After I ate and finished up the show I decided to take a walk. I grabbed my phone and my pepper spray and my wallet. Yes I have a pepper spray just in case. Walking out of the hotel room I skip to the elevator. Humming to the friendly elevator time they were playing I press the ground floor level. In what seemed like no time the elevator dinged so I stepped out. I decided to go to the park around the block and towards the convention center. Sure it was a bit of a way but I didn't mind walking. I wanted to clear my mind.
Ever since the first day of PAX I have been at huge thought. After the singing contest and my draw-off a person came up to me and handed me a bunch of papers and started talking about my talent and capabilities. Psh I don't even sing normally. But I was thinking about attending. They offered me a scholarship to college which was specifically for the arts. You know drawing, music, singing, etc. The only problem was that it was in North Carolina. Aleks, Sly, Jake, Whitney, and I lived in Colorado. I don't want them to move just for me or for me to leave them. And Aleks and I just started dating. How would he feel if I just left for 5 years. Yes 5 years.
I got to a bookstore which was still open. They had a small cafe which sold hot chocolate. I bought one and even got a little book about gaming. Next door there was a comic store. I realized that I didn't get Whitney or Jake anything yet. I grabbed a Wonder Woman poster for Whitney. To my luck they sold guitar picks with superheroes on them which I got for Jake. The employee gave me weird looks. Not because I was a girl buying these but like 'I want to do you' and 'Lemme take you out back.' I quickly pay and run out of the store. Talk about creepy.
I stroll to the skate park and see a bunch of boys skateboarding. A few recognized me I guess and called me over. One of the boys who looked about 16 was a fan and gave me his and asked if I could sign it.
"Wanna teach me a few tricks?" The boys happily obliged and I tried my best to do the tricks. I could balance on a skateboard but nothing fancy. I sign the board and the kid freaks out. He wore a Guns n' Roses shirt with black skinny jeans and red vans.
"Hey nice shoes. Look like mine." I say tapping my toe against his foot. He flashed a smile at me.
He was cute and had tousled blonde hair partly covered by a beanie. He was slightly tan and thin but muscular. His friends were a bit the same but they had different hair colors and one was Latino.
"Thanks, nice moves by the way." He said still in awe of my presence.
"Thanks, show me yours." I giggled and hand him the board. He takes off and does some amazing tricks that look like he practiced forever to perfect. I clap as he finishes and he bows.
"Thank you, thank you." He chuckles.
"Well I should be going soon. I have to get all this stuff back to the hotel." I sigh and pick up my bags. They looked disappointed as I said this. Aw young boys. Always so needy.
"Well it was nice meeting you boys. I had a blast." I give a hug to the blonde boy.
"Oh Elaine, by the way. My name is Aaron." He says and slips me a paper which I put in my pocket.
