(In this story maya is the villain....
Jump to 5 years ago when maya had come to take back Aadhya, Anuj didn't allow her. He took her to the court and since maya was a prostitute and she didn't have any financial stability so court gave custody of addhya to Anuj and anupama. So now maya has come to take revenge)The silence hung thick in the air as Anupama paced nervously around the small, dimly lit warehouse where Anuj had been taken. She could barely recognize the man she loved lying bound and beaten in the center of the room. His face was bruised, his breaths shallow, and his clothes were soaked in blood. A mixture of fear and anger pulsed through her as she stood face to face with the woman responsible for this nightmare.
A single, chilling voice echoed through the space, dripping with bitterness and malice.
"You didn't think you'd see me again, did you?" The woman's voice rang coldly. Anupama's gaze snapped to the figure stepping forward from the shadows, revealing her face. The familiar features struck her like a blow.
It was Maya—Aadhya's biological mother.
Anupama's heart hammered as memories flooded back. She remembered the day Anuj had told her about Maya, Aadhya's biological mother, who had abandoned her only to return years later to claim her. How Maya had shown up, causing turmoil in their lives, only for the court to award Aadhya's custody to Anuj and Anupama. They'd offered Aadhya a home filled with love and security, the very things Maya hadn't been able to provide.
But here she was now, Maya, her eyes gleaming with an unsettling hatred that sent shivers down Anupama's spine.
"You stole my daughter from me!" Maya spat, her tone filled with venom as she took a step toward Anupama. "I will make you pay for taking Aadhya from me, for robbing me of my rights, my only family!"
Anupama took a cautious step back, her fists clenched, her voice steady despite the fear inside. "Maya, you left her. You abandoned Aadhya when she was only a child. You weren't there for her when she needed a mother."
Maya's eyes flared, her anger intensifying. "I may not have been the perfect mother, but she was mine. My flesh and blood!" Her voice cracked with a mixture of rage and desperation. "And then you and Anuj... you took her from me, painted me as an unfit mother, dragged me through the courts!"
Anupama's voice softened as she tried to reason with the broken woman before her. "Maya, we only wanted what was best for Aadhya. She deserved a stable home, a loving family."
But Maya wasn't listening. Her face twisted into a bitter sneer. "You have no idea what it's like to lose a child. The only thing I had left in this world, taken from me by both of you." Her gaze flicked to Anuj, and a dangerous glint flashed in her eyes. "So I came back to take what you both hold dear. I wanted you to feel the same loss, the same emptiness."
Anupama's heart pounded as Maya moved closer to Anuj, who was barely conscious, lying helpless on the cold ground. Panic surged within her. She knew she had to keep Maya calm, at least until help arrived.
"Please, Maya. You don't have to do this. This isn't the way," Anupama pleaded, her voice trembling. "Hurting Anuj won't bring Aadhya back to you. Think about what you're doing."
Maya's expression hardened, the cruelty in her eyes deepening. "Oh, I've thought about it, Anupama. Every day and night since that courtroom took Aadhya away from me, I've thought about this moment." She raised her hand, her intentions clear.
Anupama's heart dropped. She fumbled for her phone, trying to dial the police, her hands shaking. But Maya's gaze shifted, and she realized what Anupama was attempting to do.
"Oh no, you don't!" Maya lunged forward, knocking the phone out of Anupama's hand, sending it clattering to the floor.
In that split second, Anupama screamed, "No! Don't do this!"
Maya's twisted smile faltered for a moment, but then, with a burst of rage, she struck Anuj, hitting him across the head. He slumped further, his body still, blood trickling down the side of his face.
Anupama's scream filled the warehouse, her body surging with terror and fury. The sight of Anuj lying there, unmoving, his life slipping away before her eyes, was too much to bear.
At that exact moment, the sound of approaching sirens cut through the air, followed by hurried footsteps. Police officers burst through the doors, surrounding Maya. She was finally trapped. Her eyes widened, and she staggered back, but there was no escape.
As the officers moved in to restrain her, Maya thrashed, yelling, "This isn't over! You don't deserve her! She's mine! She's always been mine!"
The officers handcuffed her, but her wild, furious eyes never left Anupama. Her words echoed in the vast emptiness of the warehouse, filled with a dark promise. But as they pulled her away, the only thing Anupama could focus on was Anuj, lying on the ground, his face pale and his breaths shallow.
"Anuj!" She dropped to her knees beside him, her hands trembling as she gently lifted his head. His face was covered in cuts and bruises, and his breathing was weak, shallow. Tears streamed down her face as she cradled him, whispering desperately, "Please, Anuj, hold on. Help is here. Just hold on."
The police inspector nodded, quickly calling for backup and arranging a police escort to the nearest hospital. Two officers helped lift Anuj, carefully placing him on a stretcher. Anupama held his hand, her heart shattering as she felt the faint, fading warmth of his touch.
As they rushed toward the hospital, Anupama refused to let go, clinging to his hand with a determination that held the strength of a lifetime's worth of love and devotion. She could barely breathe, the thought of losing him tearing her apart. She whispered words of love and hope, willing him to stay with her, to fight.
The hospital was a blur of doctors and nurses, bright lights and hurried footsteps. Anupama was barely aware of anything around her, her focus solely on Anuj. She watched as he was wheeled into the emergency room, the doors closing behind him, leaving her standing alone in the hallway, her heart heavy with fear.
Minutes passed like hours, each second stretching painfully as she waited, her hands clasped together, praying for his survival. Her mind was a chaotic mix of worry and anger. The memories of Maya's twisted words haunted her, the hatred in her eyes a reminder of the lengths she'd gone to out of revenge.
But no matter how deep the scars Maya had tried to leave on their lives, Anupama knew that love was stronger. She clung to that belief, letting it be her anchor in the midst of this storm.
Finally, a doctor emerged, and Anupama rushed forward, her heart pounding.
"He's stable," the doctor said, offering her a reassuring smile. "But he's still unconscious. We'll monitor him closely. The injuries were severe, but he's strong. With some time, he should make a full recovery."
Relief washed over her like a wave, and she felt her knees nearly buckle as the tension drained from her. She whispered a prayer of gratitude, wiping away the tears that streamed down her face.
