Hi Guys..
Sorry for the late update. Actually I'm traveling so couldn't update. This is what I wrote in the airport. Hope you all like it. Next update will come soon by Sunday evening or Monday.

The waiting area outside Anuj's hospital room was filled with a thick, somber silence. Anupama sat hunched in a chair, her gaze fixed on the floor as she clung to every bit of hope she could muster. She was lost in thought when she heard the faint sound of hurried footsteps approaching from the hallway.

She looked up, and her heart swelled with a bittersweet ache as she saw Meera and Rajesh, Anuj's parents, rushing toward her. The relief in their faces was mixed with overwhelming worry, and without a word, they enveloped her in a warm, fierce embrace.

"Beta," Meera whispered, holding Anupama's hands tightly. "Is he... how is our Anuj?"

Anupama's face was a mixture of relief and heartbreak as she gestured toward the room where Anuj lay. "He's... he's here, Maa. But he's still unconscious. The doctors are doing everything they can."

Meera gave a shaky nod, her face pale and tense. She took a deep breath before stepping into the room, her hands trembling as she approached Anuj's bed. The sight of her son lying motionless, bruised, and vulnerable on the hospital bed shattered the last bit of strength she had been holding onto.

"Anuj..." Meera whispered, her voice breaking as tears spilled down her cheeks. She reached out to touch his hand, her fingers grazing his as if her touch alone could somehow bring him back to her. "My son..."

Unable to contain her pain any longer, she broke down completely, her sobs filling the silent room. Anupama moved closer, wrapping an arm around her mother-in-law, her own eyes filling with tears. She tried to stay strong for Meera's sake, but the sight of Anuj's mother so broken brought out the heartache she had been trying to hold in.

"Maa... he's strong," Anupama whispered, her voice trembling. "He'll come back to us. He has to."

Meera looked at Anupama, her face etched with despair, yet grateful for the comfort. As they clung to each other, both women found a small measure of strength in the shared sorrow, an unspoken promise to support each other for Anuj's sake.

Rajesh, who had been quietly observing, stepped forward, placing a comforting hand on Anupama's shoulder. He could see the burden she was carrying, the way she tried to hold herself together for everyone else. He gently pulled her into a warm embrace, his voice calm and reassuring.

"Anupama, you've been so strong. Anuj would be so proud of you," Rajesh said softly, his voice filled with a fatherly warmth. "But don't carry all this alone. We're here, beta. We'll get through this together."

Anupama closed her eyes, allowing herself a moment of vulnerability as she leaned against Rajesh's comforting presence. For a brief moment, she felt a flicker of hope, surrounded by the love and strength of her family.

As they stood there, a faint rustling sound filled the room, breaking the silence. Anupama's eyes widened, her heart racing as she looked at Anuj, who seemed to be stirring, his eyelids fluttering as he slowly began to regain consciousness.

"Anuj!" she gasped, her voice filled with a mixture of hope and disbelief.

Meera and Rajesh turned, their eyes widening as they saw the faint movements. Meera's hand flew to her mouth, and Rajesh reached for her, holding her close as they watched, breathless with anticipation.

Anuj's eyes opened slightly, his gaze unfocused but slowly settling on Anupama. A faint smile played on his lips, and he managed to reach out, his hand weakly brushing against hers. She took his hand, holding it tightly, her heart beating wildly.

"A... Anupama..." he murmured, his voice barely a whisper.

"I'm here, Anuj. I'm right here," she replied, tears streaming down her face as she leaned closer, hanging on to every word.

Anuj's eyes softened as he looked at her, his expression filled with love despite his weakened state. He managed a faint smile, his voice a strained whisper. "I... love you... so much..."

Anupama's heart swelled with emotion, her own tears falling freely as she held his hand tightly, feeling the warmth of his touch, however faint it was. "I love you too, Anuj. So, so much..."

But as quickly as he had awakened, his eyes began to close again, his hand slipping from her grasp as his body went limp once more. The beeping of the machines quickened, and Anupama's heart sank, fear seizing her as she frantically called for help.

"No... Anuj!" she cried, her voice trembling. "Please, stay with us!"

The doctor and nurses rushed in, gently guiding Anupama and his parents out of the room as they began examining Anuj. Anupama's heart pounded in her chest, her mind spinning as she tried to make sense of what had just happened. She clung to Rajesh's arm, her knees weak as she held on to the last shred of hope.

After what felt like an eternity, the doctor stepped out, his face somber as he approached them.

"Mrs. Kapadia..." he began, his voice gentle but tinged with sorrow. "I'm afraid Anuj has slipped into a coma. His injuries were severe, and the trauma to his head has affected his brain. We're doing everything we can, but... his recovery will be slow and uncertain."

Anupama felt her world collapse around her, her heart shattering at the news. Meera let out a soft cry, clutching Rajesh's arm as he held her, his own eyes filled with a quiet grief. Anupama stared at the doctor, her mind struggling to process the words as they echoed in her mind.

Coma.

Anuj was alive, but he was no longer with her in the way she desperately longed for. She felt a hollow ache in her chest, the pain of loss mingling with the faint glimmer of hope that he might, one day, wake up and return to her.

She took a deep breath, steeling herself as she wiped away her tears. Anuj was still with them, and as long as he was, she would fight for him. She would be by his side, every step of the way, no matter how long it took.

With newfound determination, Anupama turned to Meera and Rajesh, her voice steady but filled with quiet strength. "He'll come back to us. I know he will."

Meera nodded, her own tears subsiding as she held Anupama's hand tightly. "We'll be here with you, beta. We'll be here for him, for as long as it takes."

And as they stood there, united in love and hope, they knew that they would face this battle together, their bond stronger than ever, holding on to the belief that one day, Anuj would return to them.
