It was a bright Sunday morning. The sun crept into Jungkook and Taehyung’s cozy living room, where remnants of last night’s sleepover were scattered—empty soju bottles, a few pieces of leftover chicken, and a pile of blankets from where their friends had fallen asleep.
Jungkook stirred first, rubbing his eyes as he glanced over at Taehyung, who was already stretching. They exchanged sleepy smiles as they surveyed the mess.
“I’ll start cleaning this up,” Taehyung whispered, careful not to wake the others.
“I’ll join you,” Jungkook replied, helping him stack up the dishes and gather the blankets.
Once the living room looked decent again, Jungkook opened the fridge. After a moment of staring into the empty shelves, he let out a sigh. “Looks like we’re running low on...well, everything,” he chuckled.
Taehyung peeked over his shoulder and nodded, biting his lip as he started listing off what they’d need to restock. They stood close together, murmuring about what they’d need for the week, while the others started to wake up and make their way to the living room one by one.
Once everyone was awake, Jungkook asked, “Soobin, Taehyun, want to come with me for grocery shopping?”
The two nodded, quickly getting ready to leave with Jungkook, while Taehyung, Beomgyu, and Yeonjun stayed behind, tidying up the rest of the house.

At the grocery store, Soobin and Taehyun pushed the cart as Jungkook scanned the shelves for items.
“Hyung, are you sure we need five packs of ramen?” Soobin teased, watching Jungkook load the cart.
Jungkook raised an eyebrow. “You don’t know how fast Taehyung and I go through ramen.”
“Taehyung-hyung must really love it, huh?” Taehyun chimed in with a smirk. Jungkook just grinned, not denying it.
The three wandered through the aisles, picking up ingredients and laughing over little things, like Taehyun accidentally knocking over a stack of snack bags and Soobin struggling to balance a carton of eggs on top of everything else in the cart.
As they strolled toward the checkout, Taehyun nudged Jungkook with a shy smile. “Hyung...do you mind if we ask you something personal?”
Jungkook looked at him, intrigued. “Of course not. What’s up?”
“Well,” Soobin began hesitantly, “how did you and Taehyung-hyung...you know, start dating?”
Jungkook laughed softly, the memories flashing through his mind. “It’s a long story, but the short version? We’ve known each other for years but we misunderstood each other, but it took us a while to realize what we felt was more than enemity & friendship. Once we did, everything just...clicked.”
Taehyun leaned in, curious. “What do you love most about him?”
Jungkook paused, a soft smile on his face. “There’s so much... His kindness, his ability to make me feel calm no matter what’s happening around us. And the way he’s always there for me, supporting me without ever asking for anything in return. He’s my best friend, my anchor, and...” His voice grew softer. “...and the person who makes me feel complete.”
Soobin and Taehyun exchanged a look, touched by Jungkook’s sincerity. They continued to talk, sharing their thoughts on love and asking for more of Jungkook’s advice.
“Love isn’t perfect,” Jungkook added thoughtfully. “But with Taehyung, every moment feels...right, you know? He makes me feel at home, no matter where we are.”

When they arrived back at the house, Taehyung was the first to open the door, grinning as he saw them balancing grocery bags.
As soon as Jungkook stepped inside, he dropped the bags and pulled Taehyung into a tight hug, surprising everyone.
Taehyung’s laughter softened as he hugged Jungkook back, sensing the unspoken emotions in the embrace. “Hey...everything okay?”
Jungkook nodded, pressing a gentle kiss to Taehyung’s forehead. “Yeah...just needed this.”
The others looked on, smiling at the silent love shared between them, a feeling that left each of them warm and hopeful for what love might hold in their own futures.
