Ok, love

The sun had barely risen when everyone gathered at the airport for their flight back to Seoul. Their trip to Jeju had been a whirlwind of fun, laughter, and love, but now reality was calling them back. As the plane ascended into the sky, Taehyung glanced out the window, resting his head against Jungkook's shoulder, thinking of everything that had changed between them. This was the day. Taehyung was moving in with Jungkook, a new beginning for both of them.

After landing in Seoul, everyone was back to their usual routines, jumping into their work lives with renewed energy. However, Jungkook and Taehyung had decided to take the afternoon off to focus on the move. Beomgyu and Taehyun, having a free day themselves, volunteered to help, which meant the whole day would be filled with a lot of laughter—and some inevitable teasing.

Taehyung’s apartment was filled with boxes, half-packed clothes, and a few random items scattered about. Beomgyu and Taehyun arrived shortly after Taehyung and Jungkook, already grinning from ear to ear, excited about the chaos that was about to ensue.

“Hyung! We’re here to help, or should I say, to witness the end of Taehyung's bachelor life!” Beomgyu exclaimed with a playful smirk as he walked in, followed by Taehyun, who gave Taehyung a mock salute.

“Yeah, yeah, laugh it up,” Taehyung replied, rolling his eyes but smiling despite himself.

Jungkook shook his head, chuckling. “I’m still not used to how much energy these two have.”

Beomgyu sidled up to Jungkook, elbowing him. “It’s the excitement of seeing you two finally living together. So... any plans for when Taehyung moves in? Maybe an epic housewarming party?”

Before Jungkook could respond, Taehyun chimed in from across the room, already digging into Taehyung’s closet. “Or, you know, maybe something... *quieter*?” He winked at Taehyung, who was folding clothes, trying to ignore the teasing.

Jungkook laughed but glanced at Taehyung, who was blushing slightly. “We’ll see,” he said, a smile tugging at his lips as he moved closer to Taehyung. “For now, we should focus on the move. Don’t want Tae living out of boxes, do we?”

Taehyung shot Jungkook a grateful look, but before he could say anything, Beomgyu was already on them. “Hyung, come on! You’ve been sneaking looks at each other all morning. Don’t think we haven’t noticed. Just kiss already and get it over with!”

Taehyung turned an even deeper shade of red, but Jungkook, always playful, leaned in closer to him, their faces inches apart. “Well, if you insist...” he whispered teasingly, making Taehyung’s eyes widen.

“Yah!” Taehyung lightly pushed Jungkook away, but he couldn’t hide the smile on his face.

Beomgyu and Taehyun burst into laughter, collapsing onto the couch with dramatic flair. “Hyung! We’re going to die of secondhand embarrassment at this rate!” Beomgyu called out between giggles.

“You’ll live,” Taehyung shot back, throwing a pillow at Beomgyu, who barely dodged it.

For the next few hours, the group continued packing, with occasional breaks for more teasing and laughter. Taehyung and Jungkook worked closely together, their hands brushing occasionally as they passed items back and forth. Each time it happened, their eyes would meet, and the quiet, unspoken connection between them seemed to grow stronger.

As they packed the last of Taehyung’s belongings, Jungkook leaned against the wall, watching Taehyung move around the room, organizing the boxes. His mind wandered to how much had changed. He had never expected to be here, not just as Taehyung’s roommate but as his partner, his love. There was a warmth in his chest that he couldn’t quite put into words, but he didn’t need to. Just seeing Taehyung was enough.

Beomgyu and Taehyun, however, had no intention of giving them a moment of peace.

“Hyung, you two are too quiet over there,” Taehyun called out, making a mock-serious face. “Jungkook hyung, shouldn’t you be swooping in and giving Taehyung some kind of romantic move? Where’s the drama?”

Jungkook, not one to back down from a challenge, grinned and moved toward Taehyung. “You want romance? Fine.” In one swift motion, he picked Taehyung up bridal style, making Taehyung yelp in surprise.

“Jungkook, put me down!” Taehyung said, laughing as he wrapped his arms around Jungkook’s neck, his heart racing.

“Never!” Jungkook said, spinning them around before finally setting Taehyung back on his feet.

Beomgyu and Taehyun applauded, their laughter filling the room. “Now that’s what we call moving in style!” Beomgyu declared.

“Alright, enough fooling around,” Jungkook said, though his voice was still laced with laughter. “Let’s get the rest of these boxes over to the car.”

By the time they finished, they had loaded the last of Taehyung’s things into Jungkook’s car and drove over to Jungkook’s apartment. The place was already feeling like a home, with both of their personalities merging seamlessly. Beomgyu and Taehyun helped unpack the boxes, though they found more time to tease the couple than actually work.

As they set down the last box, Jungkook’s phone buzzed. He glanced at the screen and excused himself, stepping into the other room to take the call. His face shifted as he spoke, his usual easy smile fading into something tense. His tone was firm, but whatever the caller was saying was clearly upsetting him.

When Jungkook came back, his expression was back to normal, though Taehyung could sense something was off.

“Everything okay?” Taehyung asked, giving him a curious look.

Jungkook nodded quickly, offering a small smile. “Yeah, just some work stuff. Nothing to worry about.”

Beomgyu and Taehyun were already up to their usual antics, oblivious to Jungkook’s change in mood. They were chasing each other around the apartment, laughing loudly and knocking into furniture as they did.

“Hyung, catch him!” Taehyun yelled, pointing at Beomgyu, who was darting behind the couch.

Taehyung, forgetting his concern for the moment, joined in, trying to chase Beomgyu around while Jungkook stood back, watching the chaos unfold with a fond smile. Despite whatever had just happened on that phone call, Jungkook was determined to focus on the moment—on Taehyung, on this new life they were building together.

Finally, after what felt like hours of teasing and chasing, Beomgyu and Taehyun collapsed onto the couch, panting but grinning.

“You guys are exhausting,” Jungkook said, shaking his head, though the smile on his face betrayed how much he enjoyed their company.

Beomgyu raised his hand in mock surrender. “Hey, we’re just here to make sure you two don’t get too comfortable too quickly.”

“Yeah, gotta keep things interesting,” Taehyun added with a wink.

Taehyung rolled his eyes but couldn’t help but laugh. “Alright, I think it’s time you two troublemakers head home.”

Beomgyu pouted. “But we’re having so much fun!”

Jungkook chuckled. “Trust me, we’ll have plenty of fun later. But for now, I think we need a little peace and quiet.”

As Beomgyu and Taehyun finally made their way to the door, still throwing playful comments over their shoulders, Taehyung closed the door behind them and turned to Jungkook with a soft smile.

“Thanks for today,” Taehyung said, his voice quiet but full of warmth.

Jungkook stepped closer, wrapping his arms around Taehyung’s waist and pulling him in for a gentle hug. “I should be thanking you,” he murmured into Taehyung’s ear, his breath warm against Taehyung’s skin. “For moving in... for being with me.”

Taehyung leaned into the embrace, his heart full as he whispered back, “I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else."
