The late afternoon sun dipped low over Jeju as the group stirred from their naps and began preparing for the evening. The plan was simple—an evening of exploring the island’s famous street food markets, a chance to experience the local delicacies in the crisp winter air.
Jin and Namjoon were the first to emerge, dressed in matching couple outfits that somehow managed to be both adorable and stylish. Jin’s oversized cream sweater perfectly matched Namjoon’s more fitted version, and they exchanged soft smiles as they made their way to the hotel lobby.
Next were Jimin and Yoongi, both clad in simple black T-shirts and jeans. The similarity in their outfits was hard to miss, but it was the way they walked together, with an effortless synchronization, that drew attention. They looked like a perfect pair, understated but perfectly in tune with each other.
Beomgyu, Taehyun, Yeonjun, and Soobin followed, all sporting similar casual outfits, with T-shirts and pants that made them blend effortlessly into the evening crowd. Hoseok and Kai, ever the fashion enthusiasts, appeared last, dressed in chic winter coats and scarves that gave off a cool, fashion-forward vibe. They were ready for the street food adventure, but the real showstopper hadn’t arrived yet.
Jungkook emerged next, his black dress shirt tucked neatly into fitted blue jeans, looking effortlessly handsome. His dark eyes scanned the room, but what really made him pause was when Taehyung appeared just behind him. Taehyung, dressed in a white crop T-shirt that showed a teasing glimpse of skin above his tight blue jeans, caught Jungkook’s attention immediately. The winter jacket draped loosely over his shoulders only added to the allure, but it was the way Taehyung moved—confident, smooth, and entirely unaware of the effect he had—that made Jungkook’s breath catch in his throat.
Jungkook already had enough trouble dealing with Taehyung’s teasing earlier, and now seeing him like this, so effortlessly attractive, it felt like pure torture. Jungkook swallowed hard, trying to compose himself as they all gathered in the lobby.
“Ready?” Jin asked, clapping his hands together. “Let’s go get some food!”
But before anyone could respond, Taehyung, Jin, and Jimin had already linked arms and made a beeline for Yoongi, leaving Jungkook and Namjoon sitting beside the elder man. Taehyung had a mischievous grin on his face as he leaned toward Jimin, whispering something that made Jimin giggle. Jin joined in, sending flirtatious glances toward Namjoon.
Jungkook tried to remain composed, but with Taehyung so close to Jimin, both of them teasingly flirting with Yoongi, it was becoming increasingly difficult. Yoongi, as usual, remained stoic, though there was a faint twitch of amusement on his lips.
"So, Jimin," Taehyung began, his voice playful, "you and Yoongi-hyung, huh? You two are looking awfully... close."
Jimin flashed a knowing smile, his gaze flicking toward Yoongi before turning back to his two best friends. "Well, what can I say? We just solved the issue we had."
"Solved?!" Jin gasped dramatically, clutching his chest. "Oh no, you’re holding out on us! We need details. Right now."
Jimin laughed, leaning in closer. "Well, He narrated whole story of what happend in cafe and also let’s just say it involved a late-night drive and some music that got us... talking," he teased, his voice low as he recounted how the romance sparked between him and Yoongi. "You know how Yoongi can be, silent but... intense."
Taehyung, already caught up in the moment, turned to Yoongi with a sly grin. "Hyung, you’ve been holding out on us. You really got Jimin to open up to you, huh?"
Yoongi smirked, though he said nothing. His eyes, however, flicked briefly toward Jimin, the silent exchange between them palpable. It was a small gesture, but the intimacy behind it was undeniable. Jin, Taehyung, and Jimin all caught it, and they laughed in unison, each more amused than the last.
While the three of them continued to prod Jimin for more details about his relationship with Yoongi, the conversation took on a more suggestive tone. Jimin leaned in close, lowering his voice as he spoke in detail about the night he and Yoongi had shared—about the way Yoongi’s fingers had brushed his as they exchanged glances across the room, the tension that had built between them with every passing second.
Jungkook’s eyes flicked to Taehyung, who was now hanging on to every word Jimin was saying. The way Taehyung’s lips curved into a smile, the way his eyes lit up with every flirtatious comment from Jimin—it was driving Jungkook crazy. He shifted uncomfortably in his seat, trying to focus on anything other than the fact that Taehyung looked absolutely breathtaking right now.
"You know," Taehyung chimed in, his gaze flicking toward Jungkook for the briefest moment, "sometimes all it takes is the right moment. A touch, a look, something to make everything... fall into place."
His words hung in the air, and though they were directed at Jimin, the implication was clear. Jungkook felt his heart race, his mind reeling from the subtle innuendo laced into every word.
Meanwhile, Jin was leaning into Namjoon, batting his eyelashes playfully. "Namjoon-ah, isn’t it romantic? The idea of two people just... connecting like that?" His voice was a soft purr, filled with enough charm to make Namjoon’s ears turn red.
"Uh, yeah, it’s... it’s something," Namjoon stammered, his hand awkwardly rubbing the back of his neck.
The three of them—Taehyung, Jin, and Jimin—continued their playful banter, each flirtatious glance and teasing word carefully designed to get a reaction. And it was working. Jungkook, Namjoon, and Yoongi, each in their own way, were struggling to keep their composure.
Namjoon found himself staring at Jin, who was now running a finger lightly up his arm, a soft smile on his lips. Jin’s proximity, the way he leaned in ever so slightly, made Namjoon’s heart race. It was as if Jin was daring him to make a move, but Namjoon, flustered, stayed glued to his seat.
Yoongi, on the other hand, maintained his cool exterior, but even he couldn’t ignore the way Jimin was looking at him, his eyes dark with unspoken promises. Jimin’s teasing smile grew wider as he brushed his hand lightly against Yoongi’s arm, sending sparks through the older man’s body. Despite Yoongi’s best efforts to remain indifferent, his eyes betrayed him, filled with desire that even Jimin couldn’t miss.
And then there was Jungkook, sitting beside Taehyung, who had now fully turned his attention toward him. Taehyung didn’t even need to touch him. The way his eyes roamed Jungkook’s body, the way he bit his lower lip as if deep in thought, it was enough to make Jungkook’s breath hitch.
"Jungkook," Taehyung said softly, his voice low and sultry, "are you cold? Or maybe... a little too warm?"
Jungkook could barely speak, the tension between them rising with each passing second. "I... I’m fine," he managed to choke out, though his mind was far from fine.
"Good," Taehyung whispered, his eyes locking with Jungkook’s. "Because I want you to focus on me tonight. Just me."
Jungkook swallowed hard, the words wrapping around him like a heated blanket. He could feel his control slipping, and the way Taehyung smirked at him didn’t help.
By the time they all made their way to the street food market, the air between them was thick with tension. None of them had been touched, but they all felt like they had been seduced. As they stood in the cold evening air, the warmth of the food stalls barely registered compared to the heat simmering between them.
It was clear—the night had only just begun, but for Jungkook, Namjoon, and Yoongi, it was already proving to be more than they had bargained for.
