The grand meeting room in Kim’s Law Firm was buzzing with anticipation. Everyone was gathered at the long table, awaiting Namjoon and Seokjin’s announcement about the much-anticipated wedding. The merger had already made headlines, but now the wedding was set to be an extravagant event that all of South Korea’s elite were talking about.
Jimin sat stiffly on one side of the table, avoiding Yoongi’s gaze. Every now and then, he felt Yoongi’s presence, but he refused to give in and look his way. Across the room, Jungkook and Taehyung’s dynamic was on a completely different level. There was tension—palpable, heated tension that filled the room. Side glances, quick checks, and moments when their eyes would meet only to dart away, sending both their hearts racing in a way neither could control.
Jungkook couldn’t help but admire how Taehyung looked today, his soft hair tousled in perfect waves, his features sharp yet delicate. And Taehyung—he had been catching glimpses of Jungkook all morning, the way he sat back in his chair, arms crossed, exuding effortless confidence. It was infuriating, and yet, it was captivating.
Namjoon cleared his throat, silencing the room. He stood up, smiling softly at Seokjin who sat beside him.
“We’re glad everyone’s here,” Namjoon began, his deep voice carrying authority, yet warmth. “As you know, our wedding is in 10 days. We’ve thought about how we want this day to look and feel, and we’ve come up with themes.”
Seokjin’s eyes sparkled as he took over. “Yes! So, I’ve decided that my theme will be ‘Fairy.’ Think ethereal, magical, soft colors. I want my team to look like they’ve just stepped out of a mystical forest.”
Jungkook, seated across from him, couldn’t suppress the small smirk that tugged at his lips. So Jin-hyung, he thought, rolling his eyes slightly but keeping his face neutral. Of course, Seokjin would choose something whimsical and fantastical.
Namjoon smiled at Seokjin, his hand subtly brushing his fiancé’s under the table. “And for my side,” Namjoon said, “I’m going with a ‘Dragon’ theme. Powerful, regal, fierce. I want my team to embody strength, so dark tones, structured designs, and bold accessories.”
Jungkook suppressed a sigh. Dragons? Really? He glanced over at Taehyung who was stifling a laugh, catching Jungkook’s eye for a brief second before quickly looking away, biting his lip to stop himself from laughing out loud. Jungkook could feel the butterflies starting in his stomach, a feeling he hadn’t quite shaken ever since that close encounter in his office.
The rest of the team seemed to take the themes in stride, murmuring excitedly as Namjoon and Seokjin outlined the details of the wedding day. Ten days wasn’t a lot of time for such an extravagant event, but the preparations had already begun, and everyone had a role to play.
Once all the instructions were handed out, the meeting was dismissed.
Jungkook lingered for a moment longer than necessary, his eyes once again finding Taehyung, who was now standing and talking to Jimin. His heart raced as he watched Taehyung speak animatedly, his expressions so vivid, his gestures almost too endearing. Shaking his head, he forced himself to look away, but not before catching one more fleeting glance from Taehyung that sent a jolt through his chest.

Later that day, Taehyung and Jimin found themselves in Taehyung’s office, going over a case they were working on. Jimin sat back, flipping through the documents, while Taehyung paced the room, deep in thought.
Suddenly, Taehyung paused, his eyes lighting up with an idea. He turned to Jimin, a mischievous glint in his eyes.
“Jimin-ah,” Taehyung started, “you know what you should do for this wedding?”
Jimin raised an eyebrow, looking at his friend curiously. “What are you talking about, Tae?”
Taehyung grinned, walking over to Jimin and plopping down next to him on the couch. “You should dress up so well that Yoongi regrets every single thing. Make him see what he’s missing.”
Jimin blinked, then a slow smile spread across his face as the idea sank in. “You mean, show up looking so good that he can’t take his eyes off me?” he asked, a bit of his sassy side starting to surface.
“Exactly!” Taehyung nodded enthusiastically. “Make him sweat, make him realize what he lost.”
Jimin laughed, leaning back against the couch, his mind already racing with possibilities. “I like the sound of that. It’s time Yoongi sees that I’m not the same guy he walked away from.”
Taehyung clapped his hands together, pleased with himself. “Yes! And while you’re doing that, I’ll make Jungkook suffer.”
Jimin’s eyes widened in amusement. “Suffer? What are you planning, Tae?”
Taehyung’s eyes sparkled with mischief. “Do you remember how Jungkook used to bully me in college? Always calling me a nerd and teasing me about my books? Well, this is my chance to turn the tables. I’m going to look so good, so untouchable, that he’ll regret every second he ever teased me.”
Jimin smirked. “Revenge through fashion. I love it. Let’s do this.”

The next day, Taehyung, Jimin, and Jisoo found themselves at one of Seoul’s most luxurious boutiques, shopping for the perfect outfits for Seokjin’s fairy-themed wedding. The store was filled with racks of flowing dresses, soft pastel suits, and accessories that shimmered like moonlight.
“Fairy theme, huh?” Jisoo mused, holding up a light pink jacket with delicate lace detailing. “I’m not usually one for pastel, but I think this could work.”
Jimin grinned as he browsed through the racks, his eyes landing on a stunning silver suit that seemed to glow under the store lights. “I’m going to make Yoongi regret every decision he’s ever made,” he said, a new fire in his voice. He glanced at Taehyung. “What about you? Have you found anything that will make Jungkook’s head spin?”
Taehyung held up a soft blue silk suit with intricate embroidery along the sleeves and lapels. “This,” he said, admiring the way the fabric shimmered. “This is going to make him wish he never called me a nerd.”
Jisoo laughed, shaking her head at the two of them. “You two are dangerous together, you know that?”
Taehyung smirked, trying on the jacket in front of the mirror. “He won’t know what hit him.”
Jimin picked up a matching vest for his silver suit, twirling it in his hands. “We’re going to walk into that wedding and make them suffer.”
“And look fabulous while doing it,” Jisoo added, holding up her own gown for approval.
Taehyung, Jimin, and Jisoo spent the rest of the day trying on outfits, carefully selecting accessories, and discussing strategies for making the wedding an unforgettable event—not just for the happy couple, but for Yoongi and Jungkook as well.

As they left the boutique, shopping bags in hand, Taehyung’s thoughts drifted back to Jungkook. There was something about the way Jungkook had been looking at him lately—those quick, heated glances that lingered just a little too long. It was almost as if Jungkook couldn’t help himself, and that knowledge gave Taehyung a strange sense of power.
Let’s see how you handle this, Jeon Jungkook, Taehyung thought, his lips curving into a sly smile as they stepped out into the cool evening air.
