"Ah f**k," said Lucas, looking down at his shirt. He spilled his coffee, but it wasn't really his fault. If the office wasn't so small and cramped, he would have elbow room to not knock his coffee off the desk on accident.

He needed the coffee though, and he felt his eyes were straining. He had been staring at his computer for too long, reviewing the logistics of velocity in comparison to thermal energy. His whole job centered around making a better model to reduce it, but it was hard to come up with something entirely new and innovative.

He had to put a lot of work into it.

While cleaning up his shirt, he heard a ping from his phone. He was pretty sure he knew who it was.

He opened his phone and saw he got a text from "Master."

He opened the text, which was a dangerous thing to do. Dakota had messaged him "When are you getting off of work?"

"Technically, whenever I want," Lucas messaged him back. "But I have to put some more hours into this, if I want to continue being a rocket scientist." Another ping sounded.

"Take a break :)" Dakota had sent in return, "Come home to me."

"That is very tempting," Lucas wrote back, "But I cannot be convinced that easily." Lucas finished the message and turned back to his desk, a minute after he set his phone down, he got another ping.

"Does this convince you?" Dakota had messaged, but there was a picture attached. Lucas never blushed harder while at work.

The picture was of Dakota, in nothing but an unbuttoned police uniform. His hand draped a pair of handcuffs on his naked thigh. Lucas's mouth watered. He had never been happier that Dakota decided to go into detective work.

"I am on my way home," he said promptly.

Lucas was just in a loose t-shirt, and Dakota in pajamas. Their hair was wet after taking a shower together, after some not-so-innocent activities. Dakota had an arm around Lucas, and they had a movie playing. It was some Hallmark-like chickflick that was actually horrible. However, it took the edge off from homicides and thermal energy.

"Do you think we should get a kid someday?" Lucas wondered out loud, "I mean, Devin has had one for a while. But now, Avil and Tanner are adopting. Should we get one too?"

"Do you want one?" Dakota questioned, lazily rubbing Lucas's shoulder with his hand. He had grown so much more comfortable to touch since being with Lucas.

"I don't know. I am not much of a parenting type," Lucas offered.

"Me neither," Dakota shrugged, "And with kids, we wouldn't be able to have kinky sex as often. They might hear." Lucas's eyes grew large, almost like Lucas was afraid.

"Let's never have kids then," he said, which caused Dakota to laugh deeply.

"Mom wants us to have a family get-together in a couple days," Dakota revealed, "He just messaged me today. Apparently, he is making the food." Lucas groaned.

"God, I miss his food," he said.

"Do you not like my food?" Dakota huffed. Lucas rolled his eyes in response.

"Come on, Koty," Lucas huffed back, "You know that no one can beat Nick's cooking."

"Okay, I relent," Dakota admitted, "It is pretty d*mn good. Although, I want to go to see my family. I have not seen Devin or Avil in a bit."

"It will be nice to see them again," Lucas agreed. He reached over and grabbed Dakota's hand. At this moment in time, both of them were wearing rings on their fingers. "Oh my god! This is the best part!" Lucas screeched and leaned forward to grab the remote, turning the volume up.

"Lucas, I love-"

"Sh! Shut up! Be sappy later," Lucas interrupted. "Favorite part!" he reminded Dakota, pointing to the TV. Dakota rolled his eyes but pulled Lucas closer to him.

Lucas woke up second, which means he got to be given good morning kisses. After all these years, their one rule never changed.

They enjoyed it a lot, however.

"I got to get ready for work soon," Dakota murmured in Lucas's ear. Lucas sighed sadly and pouted, still sleepy.

"Why do you have to go?" he pouted, giving Dakota his best puppy eyes.

"Well, I have to go catch some bad guys," Dakota said, "Does my little kitten want anything before I start getting ready?" Dakota had his arms wrapped around Lucas, and Lucas did not want him to leave.

"Can I suck you off?" Lucas asked, still sleepy but trying to wake himself up.

"You are going to suck me dry," Dakota complained, although it was lighthearted.

"Can you f**k me then?" Lucas asked.

"I did that last night," Dakota rolled his eyes, "You want more?" Lucas hmm-ed, almost like he was purring.

"I always want more of you," Lucas admitted, leaning in to give Dakota a kiss.

"I love you," replied Dakota.

"I love you too," Lucas said, with stars in his eyes, "Now, take me to the moon."

"I believe that is your job, actually," Dakota joked, smiling.

Lucas silenced him with a kiss.
