A Kartik Day So It must be in His Pov

Tonight felt special, as if it was a beautiful mix of my dreams and fruits of all the efforts and sacrifices I had done

The lights twinkled around me like fireflies in the autumn night, lighting up my way. It's Diwali Time afterall so the night had to be like this.

I was in my car going for the Special Screening of my "dream come true" film. My fans were saying it "Larger than life movie" the entire day. They existed to make me feel blessed everyday. And when I was smiling absently thinking all those dreams that I had seen were becoming true magically,  my phone buzzed.

My Princess. My precious one....

"Hi Heroooo" her chirpy voice came as I picked up the call.

"Hi Princess" I chuckled.

"Car main ho? Screening?" she asked.

"Kese pata chala?" I asked to tease her a bit. She always knew my when, where or what.

"Kiuki tumne mera call pick kiya. Sabke samne thodi karoge" I knew she pouted. My God my girl looked extremely cute while doing a pout and I just missed watching it then.

"Apke calls ke liye badnaam ho chuka hu" I laughed.

"Apki Manju ji ne pol khol diya" she laughed along.

"Shuno na..."

"Hmm boliye na" she teased. Why couldn't we be serious even when we are trying to be romantic.

"I miss you" I said sincerely.

"I miss you too love"

To be honest, my heart ached a bit as her voice was sad. And as if understanding it without even hearing my reply or watching me, she added

"But you know na? I am always with you just on the right side of your heart"

I smiled but then realising I said,

"Hein? Right side pe kiska heart hain?"

"Kiu? Main right side pe nahi hu? Main tere kidney, lungs, liver har jagah hu!" she almost said like an order.

"Yes Mam, I am yours from my hair to toe"

"Good" she laughed. She always managed to lighten my mood making me smile.

I smiled with a sigh leaning back.

"Accha shuno all the best and I'm so so so so so so proud of you"

"I love you Princess"

"I love you too my Hero"

I was walking through the splendor of the venue swirling around me in a blend of colors and feelings, igniting a warmth deep inside his heart.

I saw the gigantic poster written "Bhool Bhoolaiyaa 3" and looked up to see the huge cut out of Rooh Baba. I placed my palm on my chest feeling grateful. But then I saw it

I was there to celebrate my film, but the universe had other plans.

Right there just beside my film poster, larger than life, was her face.

Sara's radiant smile, those eyes that I got never tired of falling in love into. As my eyes caught the sight, I tried to play it cool. But I knew cameras were there and I would smile briefly. So I just turned away, hoping no one noticed.

But no! There were more posters of her on the back. Universe was really listening to the prayers of our shippers. I laughed out knowing I was caught. Sara was right when she said. My lady luck with me. I couldn't feel more happy and I thought to click some photos of the posters of her to send her. I didn't know if I could among so many people but I had to try at least.
