Ainu's POV

A new day came and the day went by as usual until Mr. Aizawa tells us that we are going to be featured in a newspaper.

"A newspaper?" We ask.

"Yeah, they want to do a feature on your class for some reason." Mr. Aizawa confirms.

How interesting. I get a lot has happened to this class, but why now? Maybe to divert the attention away from All Might's retirement? To add some positivity? Or am I just wishfully hoping for that to be the case..

"That's enough." Mr. Aizawa commands.

We all fall silent. "Yes sir.."

"This is nothing exciting. The article's about how you're settling in, adjusting to dorm life, that kind of thing. Principal Nezu thought it would be a good idea. This will show your parents and guardians that you're happy here. Maybe set a few minds at rest. Understand?"

I felt uneasy at that. More like they'll get stressed because I won't want to go back.. Maybe if I stop by to clean, they'll be more at ease and won't pester the school..

Mr. Aizawa's scarf flies by and wraps around Mineta. "I expect you all to be on your best behavior today."

"Don't worry on my account, Mr. Aizawa." An unfamiliar voice echoes. "I wanna get a feel on what dorm life is really like, so there is no need for them to act any differently than normal."

"I didn't say you could come in yet." Mr. Aizawa responds.

Why am I hesitant to trust this guy? Is it because he's a journalist?

"I was told I have from 8 AM to 6 PM, so unless my watch is wrong-"

Mr. Aizawa lets the scarf slack as he gives an unreadable glare at the guy.

"Hello everyone. My name is Taneo Tokuda. I'm looking forward to learning more about y'all." He bows.

We bow back. "Nice to meet you."

"Now, as I said, you don't need to do anything special. Just go about your day as you usually would. The camera will do most of the work. I might ask an occasional question or two and I hope you'll answer." He smiles.

Yeah, something about this guy I just don't trust. The fact that Mr. Aizawa hasn't stopped glaring at him either confirms it too. Though I know he doesn't like the media in general. Whatever, I'll just try my best to not be bothered.

"Principal Nezu has probably already spoken to you about this, but I want to make sure you don't interfere in any way. No offense."

"I understand. If you need anything, just let me know."

"I'm sure I'm in very capable hands. This is Class 1-A after all. Every student here is a promising hero candidate."

"Iida, if there is a problem, let me know immediately. Got it?"

"Of course sir! As class representative, I will ensure my duty to carry out the safety of all my students no matter what-"

"That's great thanks." The reporter interrupts. Mr. Aizawa glares at him again. "So what would you normally be doing this time of day?"

"Having breakfast!"

"No need to be so formal. Just pretend I'm not here and go about your business as usual."

We all split up as I go make breakfast with some fellow classmates.

I don't think he's here to just get to know about our dorm life, but I'll keep to my word and pretend to not be bothered.
