Ainu's POV

All Might and Midoriya head inside and that's when I get out of my hiding spot and head back to the nurse's office. I reach for the door.

What will she say? What will I say?

I open the door and see Recovery Girl right on the other side of the door.

"Oh! R-Recovery Girl!"

"Come inside, dear."

She turns around and walks to her desk. I enter and close the door behind me. She sits in her seat and faces me.

"What took you so long?"

"I-I was going to the restroom, then I wandered off a-and got distracted."

"Did you go to the bathroom at all?"

"N-No. Since I got distracted, I didn't need to go."

Recovery Girl sighs. "Alright then."

"Hey, i-is it okay if I leave? I have to work soon."

"Of course dear. See you tomorrow."

"You too."

I grab my stuff and go to the bathroom, use it, change and leave school. As I walk to the hospital, I couldn't help but think about Midoriya's and Bakugou's conversation.

Midoriya could've gotten his quirk from someone else and Bakugou....I should ask All Might what happened, or I could ask Kirishima...I guess whomever I see first, or if the other one doesn't tell me anything.

I sigh.

I hope I at least get SOMETHING out of this mess.

~When she arrives at the hospital~

I walk up to the front desk and smile at Sara Akamine, one of the employees I work with.

"Good afternoon, Akamine-San!"

She kindly smiles back. "Good afternoon, Arai-San. How were your classes?"

"Oh! They were alright."

I gasp. "That's right! Thanks to my after school classes, I can now heal people with my quirk!"

She raises an eyebrow. "Intriguing. How about you go to your boss and tell her that?"

"Right! See you later, Akamine-San!"

I start walking around and eventually found my boss, Niko Baba, a registered nurse. I quickly walk up to her.

"Baba-San!"

She turns to me. "Oh! Good afternoon Arai-San!"

"Good afternoon to you too! I have something important to tell you."

"Can you tell me while we work?"

"Sure!"

I follow her to one of her patients room. "Well, I wanted to tell you about my quirk."

"What about it? Can you pass me the bandages please?"

"Yeah." I grab the bandages from a drawer and hand them to her. "I can now actually heal people, Baba-San."

She starts removing the bandages that are on the patient. "Really? How so?"

"If I use both sides of my quirk, the cell transformation side on a cellular level and the enhance quirk on the cells themselves, then I can speed up the recovery process without using the receiver's energy! It'll use up my energy instead and I need to actually touch someone to do that, but I think it's huge progress!"

She finished wrapping the new bandages around the patient's arm and then she looked at me.

"You're right. That is a lot of progression for your quirk, but I need to inform the higher ups about this before you can use it on patients, understand?"

I nod. "Of course. Also, I can only heal broken bones and any other injury that isn't as severe as that before I get exhausted."

She nods as well. "Makes sense. I doubt you could do any more than that with school only starting yesterday."

I shrug. "Yeah. I guess so."

She throws away the old bandages and hands the roll of bandages back to me. "It'll be a few days before we get a response from the higher ups. Do you think you can wait that long?"

I take them and put them back in the drawer. "Yeah. It's not like I'll be using the whole time I'm here. So, it won't be much of a difference, I believe."

"I guess you're right. Anyways, let's go Arai-San."

"Yes Baba-San."

Baba-San and I continued to work until I had to go home. I wave Baba-San and Akamine-San goodbye and walked to my house.

~When she arrived home (7:48 P.M.)~

Time to make dinner.

I head towards the kitchen and look in the cupboards and fridge.

Hm. Not many options to choose from. I could just get take-out. Yeah, sushi sounds good.

I close the fridge and the open cabinets and walk into my room to change.

I guess I could go out. I'll just have to be careful.

I change out of my nurse uniform and grab a pair of skinny jeans with a white t-shirt and a light blue cardigan.

I then put on a pair of white flats and grab my phone, keys, and wallet. I walk out the door and head to the closest sushi shop.

~Time skip to where she's back home~

I'm glad that was uneventful.

I put the sushi on the dining room table and start eating.

I wonder when Mother and Father are going to visit again. Though, it won't much of a difference than it is currently. They're going to have to come home after their 'business trip' before they go on another. They really like using the money the government gives them to 'take care' of me. Oh well.

I finish eating and throw away the trash. I go upstairs, take a shower, change into pj's and go to sleep.
