Unexpected Events

Ainu's POV
~Later that afternoon~

I walked into the mall and saw Midoriya, Iida, Ururaka, and Kirishima together. They were waiting for the others to join. I walk up to them.

"Hey everyone!"

"Hello!"

"Are we waiting for everyone else?"

"Yup!"

"Cool!"

We all talk as the others join our group. I secretly looked around to see if Bakugou was there, but to my avail, I couldn't find him. I felt disappointment in my heart, but I didn't want to worry the others, so I kept a smile on my face. Midoriya started muttering about the stores and Tokoyami told him to stop. A random bystander pointed at us.

"Woah! Are those U.A. students?"

"1-A! And that 1-B girl!"

"I saw them on TV!"

The three strangers in unison started to talk about how good the Sports Festival was. I couldn't pay attention because I saw a familiar ash blonde in the crowd.

I-Is that...?

He turned to me and walked towards the group. Kirishima saw him too.

"Hey! Bakubro! Didn't think you'd actually join us!"

"We just happen to be at the mall at the same time."

"What persuaded you to be here?"

"Nothing! The old hag just sent me here so that I could get supplies for camp."

Kirishima continues to talk to him, while Bakugou steals a glance at me, making my heart skip a beat before quickening its pace. I couldn't help but smile wide.

~Flashback~

"You have a crush dear."

~End of flashback~

He actually came! I'm so happy that he actually came!

He looks away from me with a small pout and a little blush dancing on his cheeks.

The group started to split up, so I decided to wander on my own, after Kirishima dragged Bakugou away, of course.

I need to grab a duffle bag, a swimsuit, some toiletries, bug spray, and sunscreen, just in case.

I start to wander into stores and easily found what I wanted. The only thing that was time consuming was finding the stores and walking to them. I got my last thing when an announcement echoed throughout the mall. A villain was sighted and the mall was closed. Everyone left except the group and Bakugou. I walked up to them as policemen and heroes start to look around the abandoned mall.

"A...villain was here..?"

Kirishima turns to me. "Yeah. Apparently it was Shigaraki, from the U.S.J. attack. Midoriya ran into him."

"Is he okay?"

"Looks like it. You should check if he has any injuries, just to be sure."

I nod and walk up to Midoriya and place a hand on his shoulder as he was talking to a policeman. I check for any hint of an injury, but there wasn't one. I sigh in relief and take my hand off of his shoulder. I walk away from him and run into Bakugou.

"Did you get everything before the mall shut down?"

"I guess."

"That's good. I'm glad."
