The Teachers

Ainu's POV

I get to meet the teachers of the hero course for freshmen. This will be interesting.

I follow Recovery Girl to the teachers lounge.

"All of your teachers are in there. If you have any questions about the work you get, ask them for help."

"Yes ma'am."

I open the door to see the tired teacher from earlier, a sentient cement block, a blonde with a giant speaker around his neck, a woman with dark purple hair that was wearing quite an....interesting...outfit, and a...man....? Wearing a huge cloak like what detectives wear. They all turn to me.

I bow. "I-It's great to meet all of you. I hope I'm not causing too much trouble with my 'special' case."

The woman speaks up, "It's no trouble at all. I'm sure Principal Nezu wouldn't have done this if he saw this as 'too much trouble'."

I stand straightly. "R-Right."

The sentient cement block spoke up. "You're Ainu Arai, correct?"

"I-I am."

"It's a pleasure meeting you. I am Cementoss, your literature teacher."

The cloaked man spoke up.

"I am Ectoplasm. I'm going to be your mathematics teacher."

I nod towards him. They are all pro heroes, just like I thought. It must be very difficult teaching and doing pro hero work at the same time. I hope I won't be too much of a bother.

The woman interrupted my thoughts. "I am Midnight, your history teacher."

I nod towards her as well. Then the blonde spoke up.

"I am going to be your English teacher yo! Name's Present Mic! Pleasure to meet ya!"

I smile a bit.

He's pretty funny. I bet he's the announcer for the school as well. His quirk is related to his voice, after all.

"Look at that! I made her smile yo!"

The tired man speaks up. "That's because you're acting like an idiot, Mic."

"Aw come on Eraser! That wasn't very nice!"

Wait....is the tired guy....Eraser Head?

"I don't need to be nice to tell the truth, Mic."

"Ouch! Now that just hurt."

I start giggling. They look at me.

"I-I'm....sorry...but-" I try to say without laughing, but..

I failed.

"Y-You two....act like...an old married couple...hahaha!"

The other teachers smiled at me warmly as I try to calm down my laughing fit. I noticed that they also teasingly smiled at the other two as well. Present Mic and Eraser Head glared at the teachers as I finally calm down.

Eraser Head cleared his throat. "I am Eraser Head. Your homeroom teacher."

I nod towards him with a smile. "It's a pleasure meeting all of you."

Eraser sighed. "All Might was supposed to be here, but he can't right now."

"Oh! That's okay! He must be pretty busy, so I don't mind."

"Still..."

"So, when will classes start?"

"April. Make sure you fill out all of the paperwork before then."

"Got it! See you guys in April!"

I turn towards the door. Present Mic yells before I leave the room.

"Can't wait to see ya again!"

I open the door, turn back towards Present Mic and smile.

"Same to you."

I turn back to the door and exit the room, closing the door behind me.

3rd POV (In the teacher's lounge)

Midnight smiles. "She's a shy one, but I like her."

Cementoss nods in agreement. "She'll make a great hero once her confidence rises up."

Midnight chuckles. "She was right about the two of you." She looks at Present Mic and Eraser Head.

Eraser Head sighs. "You know we're not like that."

"Still, it's pretty funny."

Present Mic chimes in. "I just hope she'll be hyped up when I start teaching her English. Otherwise, it'll get pretty boring."

Eraser Head shakes his head in annoyance. "School is not exactly suppose to be 'fun', Mic."

Present Mic retorts, "Well, if it's boring, the kids won't really learn anything, now will they?"

Ectoplasm states, "And there they go again."

Midnight chuckles at the two while Cementoss and Ectoplasm start to leave. Present Mic and Eraser Head are arguing. Present Mic getting loud while Eraser argues calmly, yet clearly annoyed about the whole ordeal.

Ainu's POV

I enter the nurse's office to see no one there.

"I thought Recovery Girl would be back here by now. I guess she must have some things to do." I mumble. I grab my letter and turn to leave when All Might slides in front of the doorway from the right.

"Look at me! Entering a room like a normal person!"

I almost fell backwards from shock.

"H-Hi! All Might."

He walks in and puts a hand on my shoulder.

"I apologize for not being with the others, young Arai."

"N-No! It's okay! I'm surprised you're here is all."

"Well, since I'm going to be a teacher here, any student of mine is of upmost importance! HA HA HAAA!"

I smile at him. "Oh! Which course will you teach me?"

"Why, heroics, of course!"

"Of course. What else would you teach?"

"Why, I don't know! But this is new to me! I hope I'll be a decent teacher for the students!"

"I-I'm sure you'll be fine, All Might."

I get my phone out, turn it on, and look at the time. "Ah! I need to head home now."

I put my phone away and walk out the door, but before I walk away, I turn to All Might and wave at him.

"Bye All Might!"

"Goodbye young Arai!"

I stop waving and leave U.A.

(A/N): Ainu left before All Might did! 0o0 I bet you all are wondering what Ainu's home life is like...? Well, to put it shortly, she has foster parents, but they're never around. They don't really take care of Ainu, but they don't treat her badly either.
