Media Mess

Ainu's POV

As Mina, Kirishima and I arrive at school, there was a swarm of news reporters there! We all stopped a good distance away from the reporters, so that they wouldn't spot us.

They're probably here because of All Might's new job as a teacher. I bet they'll even ask students about him. I sigh.

Kirishima looked at the swarm with worry and a little bit of intimidation. "Woah. What do you think they are all here for?"

Mina jumped excitingly. "Oh! I bet it's about All Might!"

"Yeah, you're right."

They both look at me with a blank stare.

"But that won't mean they'll ignore you. We are students and All Might became a teacher. They'll try to interrogate us to get as much info as they can. To be honest, I kind of find that annoying."

Kirishima looked back at the reporters with a hand on the back of his head. "Yeah."

Mina looks at the both of us in disbelief. "What about the chance on being on TV? You could get fame!"

She's being oblivious. "Yeah, but all they'll ask you about is school and All Might. Plus, school is close to starting. We need to prepare for our classes."

Mina then realizes. "You're right! I guess it can get annoying when you have somewhere to be.."

I smile and nod at her. I then turn to the reporters and frown. "Come on. If they start asking questions, say 'No comment' or 'Can't answer'....or do whatever you want, but that's the best advice I could give you." I start walking.

They answer at the same time before walking beside me again.

"Right!"

~Time skip (Lunch time)~

I decided to get a school lunch today, so I asked Recovery Girl if I could go to the cafeteria. She, of course, said 'yes'. I got in line and I'm currently waiting to get food when an alarm came off.

Wh-What the-?!

This caused a panic as students started rushing out as the intercom said, "WARNING. Level 3 security breach. All students, please evacuate the building in an orderly fashion. I repeat, warning. Level 3 security breach. All students, please evacuate the building in an orderly fashion."

So much for leaving in an orderly fashion...I wonder what caused this.

I walked up to the windows of the cafeteria and saw the media rushing past the broken gate.

Someone must be behind this....A villain, maybe? If the media had this already, they might've used it ages ago. All Might being a teacher is huge and all, but it shouldn't cause something THIS severe.

I sigh as Lunch Rush walks up to me.

"What are you still doing here? You should be evacuating."

"Yeah, I know sir. It's just that the media is the main cause of this. There's nothing to panic about."

He turns towards the window and sees the reporters and their cameramen.

"I guess you're right. Hey, aren't you Recovery Girl's assistant?"

I nod.

"You should get back to her then. I bet she's worried about you."

"Yeah."

We then hear yelling over the noise.

It's Iida. I guess he found out too. Good. It'll make my return to Recovery Girl a lot easier.

Lunch Rush turns to the hallway of where everyone escaped to. "Looks like someone got it under control."

I smile. "Yeah. I guess so."

After Iida was done, relief washed through the crowd and they finally calmed down.

"Well, I think it's a good time for me to go. See you around, Lunch Rush."

He waves at me. "See you."

I turn and walk towards the hallway where everyone was gathered. They started to return to the cafeteria and return to normal.

Guess I'll have to skip lunch today. What a bummer. But.....I hope my theory was wrong and the media just got lucky. I'd hate for my intuition to be correct.

I was really hopeful that day....but....I guess my intuition won't make mistakes.....
