Sports Festival: 1v1 Battles

Ainu's POV
~After Deku & Shinso's fight~

"Wake up dear. We have a patient waiting outside."

I slowly get up, stretch, and open my eyes. I focus my vision and stand. I yawn.

"Who is it?"

"You'll see." Recovery Girl walks to the door and opens it to reveal Midoriya.

"Oh. Have the battles started already?"

Recovery Girl nods. "I decided to let you sleep. You were out like a light."

I smile at her, then look at Midoriya. "Well, did you break more bones?"

He nods his head.

I shake my head in amusement. I start to walk towards him, but Recovery Girl stops me.

"Hold on. I'll take care of him today."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes. You need to conserve your energy for your fight."

"Right. So, Midoriya."

He gives me a curious look.

"Did you win?"

He smiles and nods.

"Good. I hoped you would."

"Huh? Why?"

"I was on his team in the Cavalry Battle."

"Oh."

"Yeah. Whatever happened caused me to have a really bad headache, but I guess the past is the past now."

"Right."

"Anyways, I'm going to go watch the battles since I'm awake now. Don't break too many bones in your next one."

"I'll try."

I chuckle at him as I pass by him and out of the room. I walk up to the stands and Class 1-B's area. Almost everyone was there. Midoriya came back as well.

I sat in one of the seats and watch the arena.

The corners of a cement battle field lit up with fire. On the battlefield were two people. One was Todoroki and the other was Sero.

"Enough sitting around! Now welcome to the ring, our next players! He's got skills, but at the expense of some really creepy looking elbows. From the Hero course, it's Hanta Sero!! VERSUS! An early front runner in the competition who is WAY to strong for his own good. Someone who rightfully got into the Hero course based on recommendations. It's Shoto Todoroki!!"

Sero was stretching his arms while Todoroki was just standing there, like he was frozen.

Todoroki seems a bit....off. Did he talk to Endeavor or something?

"And now for the second match of the finals! REAADY~?! BEGIINN!"

Sero immediately wraps Todoroki with tape and starts to pull him out of bounds.

"THAT ATTACK COULD THROW HIS OPPONENT OUT OF BOUNDS! A BRILLIANT SURPRISE OPENING FROM THE UNDERDOG! WAY TO START OFF STRONG, SERO!"

Todoroki looks up at Sero and then, ice. Ice everywhere.

Well then.....I'm gonna guess that it was Endeavor.

Todoroki exhales as frost covered his right side. He breaks the frozen tape around him and slowly stands straight up. Midnight, half frozen, starts to speak.
