Girl's Slumber Night

Ainu's POV

After everyone had their fill of cake, I put the rest away in the fridge and cleaned up the area. Just as I finished, I was practically whisked away by Mina to her room where all the other girls were. I was glad to see Tsu there as well.

"Everyone's here~!" Mina exclaims excitedly.

"Perfect!" Momo adds. "That means we can get down to business immediately!"

I felt hesitation flood my veins. Almost fear.

What do they plan on doing? Am I secretly in an interrogation room or are we about to summon demons or something like that?

I sweatdrop.

"Oh don't stress too much, Ainu! If this is your first slumber party, we'll be sure to go easy on you!" Mina sits me down and pats my back in reassurance. Though, I don't feel reassured at all.

"I'll start us off with some tea!" Hagakure leans in. "Did you guys know that Ms. Midnight had a crush on Mr. Snipe?"

Almost all the girls gasped in response.

"No way! Really?" Ururaka asks.

"'Had'?" I speak up.

"Yeah! Rumor has it that once she saw what was under his gas mask, her crush immediately stopped."

"It does seem that Mr. Snipe is an older guy. We all know what Ms. Midnight is into." Jiro inquires.

"Yeah.." We all say with exasperation.

"Though, I don't blame her. His mask does give him an air of mystery." Hagakure concludes.

"You're not saying you have a crush on him, are you?" Mina teases.

"What!? Ew! No! I would never like a guy who is twice my age!"

"It's not like boys our age are exactly dateable material either. Ribbit."

Jiro and Mina nod emphatically.

"I wouldn't mind dating someone who'd be a little older than me. Though, most of the boys in our class are most definitely not dateable material, there are a couple who have potential." Momo adds.

"Like Todoroki~?" Mina teases again.

"That boy has both hot and cool on his side. Not to mention the effortless mystery around him too." Hagakure butts in.

"W-Well-" Momo flusters. "Obviously he's the top contender, but that was obvious."

"Ribbit. There is no one else that can really compare to Todoroki is there?" Tsu inquires.

"Well, each guy has a quirk about them. Like, Iida is strict and very uptight. Tokoyami is very edgy which not everyone would like. Aoyama is just extra. The rest are mostly just weird or awkward." I speak up.

"There's a few that you didn't mention that stand out. Like Kaminari or Kirishima." Jiro mentions.

"Yeah, you would talk about Kaminari, would you~?" Mina teases.

"W-What's that supposed to mean?" Jiro flusters. "All he does is be a dumbass and I just find it funny. And what about Kirishima, Mina?"

"I've just known him since middle school. I haven't really thought of him any different than a classmate. Though I do admire how far he has come since then!" Mina smiles.

I look to Ururaka. She seems to be spaced out.

I wonder if she is thinking about her feelings for Deku?

"If we're going to talk about crushes, Ainu is the one we should be teasing." Hagakure interjects.

"Huh?" I blink at them incredulously.
