Summer Camp: Mineta Again...

Ainu's POV
~Dinner time~

Everyone exclaims in amazement at the food. They all start to eat and really quickly too.

Geez, scarfing down your food might make you choke, you better be careful.

I'm waiting for everyone to calm down about the food, when a hand reaches across me and places food on my plate. I turn and see Bakugou giving me a certain look.

"Even though you got here before us doesn't mean you should skip or wait or whatever the hell you're doing. You should eat before it gets cold."

"Oh. Thanks Bakugou." I said as I felt my face get a little warmer.

"Whatever." He continues to eat.

I finally eat and savor the food.

I barely hear PixieBob over the sounds of food being eaten and small conversations going on.

"Anyway, today is the only time we'll be doing this for you, so make sure you kids enjoy it."

Kirishima and Kaminari yell back. "Thank you!"

The only time? Does she mean we'll have to cook for ourselves? Oh boy...

I sweatdrop at the idea of everyone tiredly trying to make food. And me being the one who's making sure the food is actually good.

"Eat dumbass, before I make you."

"I have been eating. I'm just thinking about things."

"Sure.."

"Why don't you believe me?"

Bakugou shrugs. "It's difficult to believe you."

"How come?"

"I'm sure you know by now."

The Sports Festival...

"Fair enough. I just want to know, why are you caring about me?"

Anger covered his face. "I'm not caring about you!"

"Then what are you doing?"

"Eating. And ignoring you."

He goes back to eating and doesn't bother me anymore.

Good. It was getting weird with you being so nice, Bakugou.

I finish eating and once everyone else was done, we all head to the baths.

~At the baths~

The girls and I enter the bath and start to talk about the water. I sit back and just relax in the warm water.

We overhear Iida yelling. "You should stop this at once, Mineta! What you are doing is demeaning! For both the girls and yourself! It's sinful behavior!"

I look towards the wall that divides the girl's hot spring from the boy's. "Uhh...you guys heard that?" I said quietly.

They all nod and proceed to cover up with their arms or the water while still relaxing.

"Get back down here right this instant!" Iida shouts.

I put my guard up and look at the top of the wall and glare. If he gets so much of a peek, I will personally slap him so hard he'll have to go through the mountains AND the Beast Forest all on his own.

Then, I see the back of Kota's hat appear from above the wall. And I let out a sigh of relief.

"Before you become a hero, you should learn how to be a good human." Kota reaches his hand back and smacks something. I am guessing Mineta. I smirk.

"I'll get you for thiiiiiiiiiiiis!!" Mineta's voice gets quieter for us as he falls and I hear a muffled yell other than Mineta's. And then a splash.

Why was the yell muffled...? Nevermind, I don't want to know.

"Mineta really is the worst, isn't he?" Tsu speaks up to Kota.

Mina, with her back to the wall, looks up towards Kota. "Thanks so much, Kota-babe~!" She sticks her arms up and gives him a double thumbs up. "We owe you one~!" Mina giggles.

I hear Kota make a sound of startlement. He lets out a yell and it was further away than before and I get worried.

No! He didn't...!

"Look out!" Deku calls out.

.

.

There was no thud or sound of someone falling. Midoriya must've caught him. I breath my second sigh of relief.

"Is Kota okay?" Mina calls out worriedly.

"Yeah, he's fine! I'm just going to take him to Mandalay!" Midoriya responds.

All the girls let out a breath of relief.

"Whew! What a scare!" Mina, exhausted, says.

The girls all reply, "Yeah..."

I hung my head low. "That was too close for comfort.."

"What was?" Momo asked.

"Mineta AND Kota..."

She looks down with a worried look. "You're right.."

The girls all began to look glum.

"W-Well, let's look at the bright side! We are safe and so is Kota!" I nervously smiled at them.

They all brighten up a bit and smile too. "You're right..!"

We all get back to chatting and relaxing in the water before we have to leave. When we all head to our beds, we flopped on them and promptly fell asleep for the night.

(A/N): So....a lot has happened...
This chapter was practically finished when I visited this book again and I thought I should finish and publish it because I feel like I just ended abruptly without warning and I never got to write what I was truly excited for writing. I am truly sorry for disappearing for so long. And I hope that you enjoy this chapter.
