I took a deepbreath and stepped into the restaurant. It was a nice choice. Therewhere silky table cloths, and just a beautiful set up. I bit my lipand smoothed out my clothes, scanning the place until I saw the blackhaired blue eyed beauty, nervously standing by a table. I smiledwidely ,and felt my heart skip a beat.

I instantly walkedover to him, and once his eyes met mine a shy smile crossed hisusually serious face. "Hello Y/N" He greeted. I smiled. "HelloCas," I responded. Cas had asked me out once Dean had explained theconcept of a date to him, and he insisted on planning the entireevening. So far, so good.

Hecleared his throat."I uh...Took the liberty ofordering our food so we wouldn't have to wait,"he spoke. Ismiled. "Why thank you,"I said, with a grin. Cas alsosmiled. "Thereis a salad bar we can begin with,"Cas informed me. "Lead theway angel boy," I smiled, and he blushed, gently, taking my wrist. I jumped at the touch, andpulled back.

OnceI realized why I did that, I felt my blood run cold. Yesterday hadbeen a rough day. It was the day my family was killed, and I had cuton my wrists to numb the emotional pain. Once Castiel noticed myactions, he frowned. "Y/N,are you alright?" My breathhitched in my throat, and I gulped. "I-Im fine," I muttered.

Castiel's facestayed serious, and he looked down at my hands, which I had hiddenbehind my back. "Y/N... May see your wrist?" He asked quietly. Ifelt my body begin to tremble lightly, as I remembered talking withhim about my self harm a long time ago...He must have remembered. Ishook my head, and took a step back.

Castiel's eyeswidened, showing sadness, and fear. "Please," He practicallybegged. I felt the lump in my throat as my eyes started to sting. Somuch for a nice date. Before he could say anything, I turned, andtook off running. "Y/N!" Cas called, but I kept running, until Iwas clear out of the restaurant.

I ran out behindto the alley of the place, and leaned against the brick wall, myheart beating like a drum in my ears. I covered my face in my hands, and began sobbing lightly. I let my back slide against the wall, andI brought my knee's up to my chest. "Why do I always ruineverything?" I whispered, my voice cracking

"Y/N! Please!Where are you?" I heard Castiel's voice. I gasped, and looked up,seeing his shadow. Suddenly footsteps came towards me, and I knew hehad found me. I hid my arms, and sniffled. "I'm sorry," Iwhispered ever so quietly. I knew Cas was there, and I peeked up tosee him crouching in front of me.

"Do notapologize. I should be the one apologizing. I did not intend to makeyou sad. I only wished to help," He spoke softly. Tears pooled outof my eyes, and Cas scooted closer, pulling me into his arms. Imelted into him, and cried my eyes out. "I can't do it. I'm nogood!" I murmured. "What?" Cas asked.

"I'm a burden toeveryone on this damn earth," I spat, disgusted with myself. Tomlifted my chin with his hand, and looked me dead in the eyes. "Neversay that. You are not a burden. You are quite an amazing humanbeing," He said. I buried my face in the crook of his neck. "Thankyou. No one's ever been this kind to me. Well not besides my Sam andDean," I muttered lamely

Casfrowned. "Y/N,I care about you, never forget that. If you ever need anything, I amhere," He said. I nodded. "Thank you...Thank you," I whispered.I then felt a trickle of liquid flowing down my wrist, and cursed under my breath. I must have broken the scab.

Ipulled away, and noticed some red on the sleeve of my shirt.I gasped, and tried to hide it, but it was too late, Cashad seen. Myeyes stung with fresh tears threatening to spill. Hehad never seen... "Y/N..."Castiel'svoice cracked. He looked up at me, with thatkicked puppy dog face of sadness."M-may I see?" He asked.

Ireluctantly brought my arm out. "It's.....not....pretty," Iwhispered. He nodded, and gently took my arm in his hands, pullingup the sleeve. Cas let out asmall gasp when he saw the cuts along my arm. All of them. Notonlythe fresh ones. Castiel'slip twitched, and I saw tearsglistening in his eyes"Oh Y/N..."He whispered ever so quietly. I let out a shaky breath, along with aslight whimper.

"Will...Will youlet me heal you?" He asked softly, looking up at me with innocentblues. I licked my lips and sighed. "I-I guess," I whispered. Casgave my hand a gently kiss before putting his own hand over my arm,and healing the wounds. I watched as all of them seemed to disappearinto thin air.

"Thank you," Imuttered. Cas nodded, and sat beside me. I gave out a dry laugh."Sorry I ruined our date," Cas shook his head. "You did notruin it. The night is still young...Plus now we have connected more,"He said, and smiled sheepishly. I smiled back and leaned in, peckinghis lips. "You're amazing. "As are you,"
