(TW!!! Talk of pregnancy and termination! Read at your own risk!)
The world started with conception. Right? So how did the entire world just end- by two little pink lines? Siobhan sat on the floor of her bathroom in Reece's guest house. She had kindly excused herself from dinner with Vivian and Jamie the night before and zoomed off to find the nearest store still open at 10 pm on a Tuesday. She had to know. A part of her wished now that she didn't. Those two little pink lines had confirmed her worst fear. She was carrying Roger's baby.
"Siobhan?" A knock came at the bathroom door startling the blonde. She scrambled to hide the test, desperate to burn it, stomp on it- boil it in acid- she didn't care it just needed to be gone. She stumbled to her feet and ran to the door.
"Shit- I'm coming!" She yelled as she tripped into the door. "Reece!" She peeked out with a fake smile.
"Hey, I-" Reece clocked the look on her face almost instantly. He raised an eyebrow and held up a finger before continuing; "Are you.. good?" Siobhan's fake smile dropped slightly. He was onto her.
"I'm great, Reece. Just getting ready to shower." Reece pointed up slightly.
"You're hair's wet-"
"-just getting out of the shower! Silly me. Mind is... elsewhere- Anyway. You were saying?" Siobhan was growing frustrated- she wanted to get rid of that test before Reece found it.
"I'm going to pick up some breakfast. Do you want anything?" Siobhan's stomach flipped at the thought of food.
"No- I'm trying this n-new diet. No breakfasts. I really need to dry my hair before it sets this way. Have fun!" She slammed the door in Reece's face and ran for toilet. Just the mention of food was giving her enough nausea to heave. She could hear Reece mumbling as he left the guest house;
"She's so weird about her hair..."
After she was sure Reece was gone she pulled the test back out from the garbage can- willing that the lines would be gone and she just had a really bad case of the flu. But just as before, the test results glared at her like a neon flashing sign in the dead of night. Positive. She was positive that this would ruin her life. Positive it would send Vivian running for the hills....
....Positive she couldn't face it alone.

She had made sure that Vivian would be nowhere near the hospital when she made the appointment with her GP. The last thing she needed right now was to ruin the thing they had going, it was the only thing good in her life. But as she stood outside and stared up st the thousands of windows outside of the hospital, she felt dread dig deep into her bones. What was she even supposed to do now? Could she terminate? No. She couldn't bear the thought. She surely would have to tell Roger- no. That was not happening in a million years. Who would she tell..? She had... no one.
The watch on her wrist reminded her that the time was too close to her appointment to be focused on the questions any longer. She gripped the strap on her purse and stepped through the doors. There was no going back, not now. She pressed the buttons on the elevator, taking her up to the 3rd floor. The mirrors on the walls around her brought her attention to her body. Her hand traveled to her thighs, her hips, her chest. It would all change, every bit of her would gain weight- her body wouldn't be worth anything any more. For a moment she hovered her hand over her stomach, before settling down onto it. There was life in there. A human growing within her own body, one that irregardless of who it's father was- she created.
The ding of the bell brought her back to the present, she dropped her hand quickly. The reality of it all was this was not a fairytale. This wasn't a dream pregnancy and it sure as hell wasn't something to be excited for. What sat on the other end of this appointment was the truth- and it wasn't something she could even bear to think of. She entered the waiting room and slowed to almost a stop. The room was filled with women of varying stages of pregnancy, along with varying stages of excitement. One girl in the corner of the room was trying her hardest not to sob- while one in the middle was giggling with excitement while flipping through baby books. Where did she fit in this situation? She didn't know. Everything felt so overwhelming, so scary yet thrilling-
