chapter 16

After Scott saw a red light from Lydia's coat hanger and Isaac found out it was a small camera, the group of friends rushed to the lab to go on Stiles and Kira's computer to trace the camera and find out who has been watching Lydia.

Lydia felt terrified. She was being watched for who knows how long and knew it had to something to do with the death of the rich and powerful people in beacon City. She was an obvious target and whoever planted the camera wanted to watch Lydia's every step.

"Well, well, well." The familiar and mischievous sounding voice of Erica Reyes said, "Looks like we found your little hide out." She lead the group of villains inside and shut the door.

"I told you we shouldn't trust him." Scott whispered as he pointed out Derek standing next to Erica.

"When a villain comes to you and asks to switch sides, then the last thing you should do is trust them." Liam announced. He looked the youngest out of the group and had to be fresh out of high school.

"I'm tired of all this talk." Malia sighed, "Can we just tie them up now? Stiles or Kira would be easiest to hypnotize since they're the weakest."

The group of villains put surgical masks on as they crashed a small glass bottle on the ground that was full of some type of glass. Everyone rushed in a panic to get out through the back or front door, but they were both locked from the outside. Whatever the gas was, everyone was coughing and slowly falling to the ground. In just seconds, everyone fell unconscious.

Lydia gasped and opened her eyes. She was chained to the wall and all of her friends were too. On the left of Lydia was Allison then on the right of Lydia was Stiles. Scott, Kira, and Isaac followed. They were all chained up and there was no way of breaking free. Stiles was the only one still trying, but it was no help. Even the people with enhanced strength couldn't break free.

"Great, they're all awake." Stiles dad walked inside the lab and smile. "Surprise?"

"Dad, you're with them?" Stiles asked in disbelief. 

"I've been with them the whole time." The once trusted and beloved scientist smiled. His smile wasn't the normal type of one, it was a scary and evil smile. Stiles looked most betrayed out of anyone, and it made sense. His father betrayed his own son. "Stiles, t's nothing personal. I'm just doing what's right."

"Doing what's right? Chaining up your son and his best friends is doing what's right? Working with evil people who want to ruin the world is what's right? You, sir, must have a new definition of what doing something right means" Allison stated.

Lydia felt like someone was screaming her name, then she realized someone was trying to get attention in her head. She let the voice in and recognized it as Isaac's thoughts. Stiles dad wouldn't do this, Isaac's thoughts went through Lydia's head, he has to be working for someone. Lydia gave the most subtle and smallest nod to let Isaac know that she heard the thought. If Stiles dad was working for someone, who was there to work for? Almost everyone powerful in Beacon City was dead.

"I went to school with you." Malia shouted, drawing everyone's attention. She was looking down at Allison and kneeled to be face-to-face with her. "You were a real bitch. You stole the guy that I liked."

"Wait, you liked Scott?" Allison laughed and had a facial expression that seemed like she was thinking about how pathetic Malia was, "You and Scott didn't talk once during high school."

"You two dated? Does that mean it would be wrong if I asked Allison out to a date?" Isaac then asked.

"Does that also mean I should be jealous?" Erica questioned.

 Scott's eyes widened and he turned his head to look at Malia, "You liked me? You never even talked to anyone in school. And why are you talking about this while we're chained up?"

"This whole team thing must be so awkward for you two then." Kira whispered, thinking no one could hear her but everyone did.

 Malia ignored Kira's comment and grabbed ahold of Allison's wrists, "I am going to make you become so scared and go so crazy that you will die from shock. Ready?"

"Be my guest." Allison shrugged. She looked at Malia's hands and watched as they turned silver. Malia screamed and try to take her hands off of Allison's but couldn't.

"What the hell did you do to me?"

"Isn't it obvious? I turned part of you silver." Allison stated.

Lydia laughed, "That is why you're my best friend."

Malia struggled to let go but finally did then the villains looked at Malia in shock then Allison's wrists. Allison didn't have one scratch and she shrugged again, "You guys can't kill me. It's impossible to hurt me."

"Does that mean she's immortal?" Liam questioned.

"No, it means she can choose when she wants to die or how hurt she wants to get." Stiles dad said. "She can't be physically or emotional harmed unless she lets the feelings in."

"So please, if you want to hurt me then try. I would love to see you utterly fail at it." Allison smiled then leaned back against the wall. 

"Can you please just think about this, dad?" Stiles was practically begging his father to let them go, "Don't hurt us. We never gave you a reason to. And dad, I'm your son."

"This was a mistake. All of these power serums, it was all a mistake. The only way to get rid of them is by killing you all entirely. I only got permission to harm one person. Stiles, I'm not going after you. I'm going after someone you love." Stiles dad finished making the speech and took a needle filled with another serum. Everyone knew it was the one to take away the super powers which would result in death. 

"Dad, no, don't. Stop, please don't do this." Stiles said as his dad began walking in Scott's direction. What threw everyone off guard when was Doctor Stilinski went for Lydia instead. Lydia could hear Stiles shouting and see from the corner of her eyes that he was trying even harder to break loose of the chains.

"You know what will hurt the most? The fact your brother is behind all of this." The Scientist said and Lydia's face went blank. Alex was behind all of this? She could barely process anything but when she felt the needle poke her neck, she broke loose of the chains and screamed. The scream threw Doctor Stilinski on the other side of the room and all eyes turned to her.

Plot Twist central, maybe? Alex was probably the person you guys were least expecting about.

I'm really happy with how this chapter turned out and I hope you guys are too. In the next chapters we'll see big fights and the villain side of Alex (along with Stydia drama) so get ready.
