Heroes and Villains | A Teen Wolf AU (Completed)

chapter twenty one

The fight started.

Civilians were cleared and at least three miles away. Though there were only three villains, it was harder than expected. Derek was able to create a forcefield, Erica could create explosions, and Liam was able to suck the air out of someone's lungs. They had advantages over the heroes.

Lydia was searching for Kira. Kira couldn't have been far from the fight and if the villains took her, it was because they needed brains of the operation and that had to be Kira. After Lydia spent time trying to search all the minds, she found Kira's. Lydia looked at the beach, seeing Kira but it was not the girl that Lydia meant months ago. It was like Kira was hypnotized and under the spell to work for the villains. Lydia knew that Derek had hypnotized her into working for them.

Erica appeared in front of Lydia and wore a grin on her face. "Try fighting this." Erica multiplied herself into four people that were all surrounding Lydia. She felt punches, kicks, and could feel herself slowly becoming insane. Lydia screamed and absorbed Allison's healing power then Lydia multiplied herself to fight. 

"You won't win." Lydia said, slamming Erica into the wooden pier and throwing a punch that caused Erica's jaw to make a certain popping noise. After Lydia was done with Erica, she stood up and became overwhelmed. 

She felt like she was standing in a graveyard and let out a scream.

Two people were going to die.

Lydia frantically tried to find answers on who the people were in case there was any possible chance she could save someone. Allison and Scott were busy trying to get through Derek's forcefield while Isaac was fighting Liam. Alex stood at the very end of the pier next to Doctor Stilinski and had a look of satisfaction on his face. Everything Alex wanted was coming true.

She then looked at Stiles, who was at the beach trying to get Kira. "No." Lydia breathed and ran down to the beach. "Stiles!" Lydia yelled and it was louder than any other scream. Lydia pushed Stiles onto the ground and was met by the force of Kira's knife. It was lodged into her stomach and Lydia felt blood starting to form in her mouth. She felt the knife be released and fell onto the sand, holding onto the wound. "It's okay. Stiles, I'm okay." Lydia said as he had a panicked look on his face.

"You're not okay, you're bleeding to death!" Stiles shouted, "If we slow the bleeding, then you'll be okay. Hold pressure against it." He took off his flannel to put it against the wound and held it against Lydia's stomach, "We need to get you to the hospital."

"I'm fine!" Lydia urged, "I'm not going to die."

"You're dying right now." Stiles stated, "And it's my fault. This- it's, it's my fault."

Lydia closed her eyes. She sucked in a breath and focused her mind. She removed the flannel and could feel the blood stop escaping from her body. When Lydia opened her eyes, the wound was gone and Kira was gone too. "What did you do?" Lydia asked and stood up.

Stiles stood there and looked dumbfounded. He had blood on his fists, "I punched Kira."

"Enough to kill her?"

"I didn't know the impact would kill her. I-I thought you were dead."

"It's okay." Lydia said as she saw Stiles eyes become tear-filled. "Kira was under a state of hypnotism anyway. You ended her misery."

Lydia's boots met with Derek's chest. He stumbled onto the ground and Lydia rushed to remove Scott from an explosion that Erica was going to cause right under his feet. "You're welcome." Lydia said and he nodded.

"Thanks."

What was left of the Beacon City Pier was only the slightly torn apart stores and the beach. The pier was close to collapsing and everything was turning into a mess. It surprised Lydia that all the stores weren't destroyed yet. The police did show up, but after seeing the team of 'superheroes' did, the cops stayed inside the stores and were in a position to fire their guns if needed.

Everyone was growing tired. Energy was being drained and no one knew how much longer they could fight. Alex was standing behind the defense of his villains and was next to Doctor Stilinski. His eyes darted from villain to villain before they met with his sister. Lydia ran her way through the villains and stood in front of Alex, "Look at you, brother. You're standing here and letting the villains protect you. Why don't you fight for yourself?" Lydia asked and tilted her head, "You talk about riding the world of people with powers. Are you gonna end up killing your puppets after finishing my friends and I off?"

Alex laughed and looked at his sister, "I'll let them live so they can continue being my so-called puppets. I would love to fight you but I'm too terrified that I'll hurt you. It would really shame me to be the one to kill my sister."

"Talk means nothing, Alex. Actions speak louder than words." Lydia raised her eyebrow, challenging him and he nodded.

"Doctor, you may want to step back from this." Alex warned. Doctor Stilinski took steps back and let the two siblings deal with the family problems they had to sort out. "I don't want to do this."

"That's too bad because I do." Lydia said and made the first move. She swung her arm to punch Alex in the head, but he grabbed ahold of her hand and twisted her arm. He threw Lydia onto the ground and stepped on her back while still twisting her arm.

Alex laughed, "It's funny. You're the one with powers but I'm beating you."

Lydia focused on absorbing the enhanced strength Scott had and overpowered Alex. She kicked him to the ground and held him by the neck. "Look at this. Look at the mess you made!" Lydia yelled, "Do you know how crazy we are? We're brother and sister trying to kill each other!"

"It had to be done. I had to stop this!" Alex said as he struggled for breath, "I'm trying to stop the world from self destruction."

"How is having people with powers self destruction? Is it really so bad that there are people who can do things that other people can only dream of? Is it really that bad that there are people who can save the world?" Lydia asked and released her hands off of Alex's neck, "I'm not going to kill you. I'm gonna let you live with what you've done."

"You have no idea what's coming to you." Alex coughed and wiped blood from his mouth.

Lydia stood up and started walking away, but stopped in her tracks as she heard the sound of a gunshot. She slowly turned around and saw Doctor Stilinski holding a gun. It was pointed directly at Alex, who was laying on the ground with a shot in his chest. Doctor Stilinski lowered his gun and looked at Lydia, "He had to be stopped."

The Beacon City pier was in ruins. The team of superheroes finally won the fight but were tired and injured. Allison and Lydia were fine, but that didn't mean they were emotionally fine. 

Erica, Derek, and Liam were all knocked out and laying on the sand, Doctor Stilinski was going to be arrested, and Kira and Alex had died.

"It's been a long day. We should go." Allison said, "What are we going to do with them?"

All eyes turned to the villains and Stiles sighed, "Let's go to the headquarters." With the powers, the team was there in seconds and Stiles led them to another underground facility that was a mile away. He moved a pile of dirt, leaves, and moss to reveal a small metal door. "While we were building the new lab, I was building something else."

He twisted open the door and jumped inside. Everyone followed and walked through a tunnel before reaching a place that had makeshift cells, but the doors were see through. "What is this?" Isaac questioned.

"I figured that we needed a place to hold the enemies since the police can never understand them. I've been working on this place where villains can be kept and they don't have the ability to use their powers because of what it's made out of." Stiles explained, "The doors are see through and look plastic, but they're not. I've been planning this place for awhile but started building it when we started the new lab."

"Well what are we waiting for? Let's put these villains where they belong for once and belong." Scott stated and picked up Erica while he waited for Stiles to open the first cell door.

THIS IS NOT THE LAST CHAPTER. The last chapter will be the next one then there will be an epilogue.
