Pugazh slowly opened the house door with his own key and tried to sneak in quietly so as not to be seen by others. He saw that the whole house was dimly lit and no one was around. The house was so quiet except for some vessels sounds.

He walked in quietly and heard the sounds coming from the kitchen. As it was above 10 pm, he guessed it should be his mother as the cook would have returned to her home already.

Pugazh continued to sneak in slowly without giving out his presence to his mother. He was almost near the staircase without being caught, but his finger grazed a vase near the staircase causing it to trip.

Fortunately Pugazh quickly caught it, preventing it from falling. He sighed in relief but then facepalmed himself on hearing no sound from the kitchen which indicates Binni had stopped working after she heard the vase clinking sound.

Pugazh walked towards the kitchen dejectedly to greet Binni without any other way. Because if he still went towards his room silently, then it would seem as if he was disrespecting her. Pugazh doesn't want to increase his crime rate even more after the chaos that took place in the morning.

Pugazh went inside the kitchen and saw Binni arranging the leftover foods inside the fridge. She paused for a minute and looked at Pugazh silently. Pugazh greeted her with a hesitant smile.

She ignored the greeting and kept looking at him. Pugazh gulped and lied that he had eaten dinner outside. Binni shook her head in disbelief and started to arrange back the food on the table.

Pugazh tried to decline dinner by repeating that he had eaten and he was feeling full but got replied with louder vessel sounds only. He shut up realising he could not lie to his mother as he was actually feeling very hungry.

Pugazh rushed towards his room to freshen up and came downstairs to eat. Binni waits beside him to serve him but as Pugazh tries to start a conversation with her repeatedly, she storms out and goes towards her bedroom shutting the door loudly.

Pugazh winced on the heavy sound as it echoed throughout the quiet house. He sighed and ate dinner. Even though he wasn't in the mood to eat, after seeing the food he got very hungry. After all he was Sana's brother so food is more important than all the other things.

After having a heavy dinner, he washed his plates and kept the leftovers in the fridge. He dimmed the kitchen light and locked all the house doors before retiring to his room.

He kept the water bottle on the bedside table and lay on the bed facing the ceiling. Pugazh sensed an odd feeling of something missing but couldn't pinpoint what it is. His mind wondered so many things at one time causing him to forget what he was even thinking in the first place.

All of a sudden this odd and quiet silence reminded him of something. His thoughts seem to be travelling back to the years when he was truly being happy and carefree. The time when it wasn't needed to hide his true emotions. The time before this whole Anitha fiasco happened.
